    CU for VapCap?

I am using a long draw tube as well on my VC and I find this 'extended path length' to be very effective. In the same way, the twisted inter-cooling technique lengthens the path by generating a helical path that is much longer. The material for such a device needs to be vape-temp-proof. You...

https://tinymightvape.com/index.php?route=common/home There is nothing wrong with metal in the air path @rnartian as long as it is the right kind of metal. For the most part, stainless steel and titanium.

Had to look that up too :disgust: But glad I did as I'm still tweezering a couple of shards of CF from my skin. Funny thing, splinters do not necessarily infect the affected site so the body just lets the splinter irritate the region. In this case it is obviously window dressing but still not...

Carbon fiber is held together with epoxy. There are high temperature grade epoxies for carbon fiber. But cap temps? And that stem being carbon fiber near the hot spot, not a good idea. It may not be in the airpath but just the idea of CF near a heat source is a complete turnoff for someone...

Happy too @dzoinp - Now where did I park that ugly ass truck anyway? In flashlight circles, makers would fall all over themselves to get new offerings in the hands of qualified reviewers. It is almost always expected that the reviewer disassemble the provided unit. I've done a few of...

You might consider a less crusty type of nail than galvanized but yes, a nail could do it. I used a bicycle spoke which I know to be stainless steel. I also suggested a coat-hanger wire but you need to scrape off the coating. If you have access to some o-rings, that may work to stabilize the...

    18650 Battery Safety

I only buy name brand and I buy from a reputable reseller I trust. It also helps if you can confirm capacity with a smart charger. Bogus cells will not even come close to their rated capacity. Way cool find @KeroZen

@Choices, did you get you tank yet? I am reading between 0.10 and 0.14 ohms on the MOD. Running at 17.5W is about equivalent to a fully charged Ni-Mh cell. I can sure give the Target Mini a workout on a trench.

LED's are normally sealed so when they light up they are in an oxygen-free environment. If the plastic lens breaks, the junction is exposed. This compromises the stuff that glows. What remains is a pail blue light if the connection is otherwise intact.

I don't have a problem with metal in the air path but I did relate your comment "I don’t see anything wrong w a good metal air path" directly to the TM since, well, this is the TM thread. And I gave the idea a quick summation of what that could mean.

I wasn't going off, I was just saying if you do modify your TM to use a metal tube instead of glass to please report back as to how the change affected the performance. What I detailed were some of the more obvious limitations and performance risks.

Let us know how it works out for you @Baron23 . Be sure to do an honest assessment comparing the glass to a metal column. Similar to the dosing capsule evaluation. Of course you also took into account that the metal will be very thick or specially machined to account for matching the OD and...

@Facticity - this vape is =tuned= for how its built. It has already been noted that changing shit changes other shit. If better performance has to beat already excellent, then I'm going to put my money on changing shit would make performance worse. I know. I change a lot of shit for the...

    Making Draw Tubes... Flower Quince?

It is the little things that make this process interesting. I am now convinced that wet-working this wood is for very specialized work. My 5-1/4" long daily driver had its first honey-clog. That just tickles me to no end to have reached this milestone. This stem, due to its shape, is warped...
