And that  but basically any tube 62mm in length with a 5/16"-8mm hole through the center with a small breather hole in the middle of the mess makes for a stem. I choose wood because it is light weight.

    Making Draw Tubes... Flower Quince?

I'll make that up to you Diggy. They up-rated it to first class which is normally around $4.06. Feel free to refuse it if you like. I will make you another at your preferred length along with some extras.

Oh @Planck - I can think of some interesting things for the airport. I want a normally closed airport! Something like a wind instrument as an adapter would be fine. That could get very interesting as a bling kit. Do remember you heard it here first! The only thing that seems to set Omni...

Would you like an Omni if it had a wooden body no larger in diameter than the current stem? Just saying would that be 'unique' enough?

Researching :spliff: Food coloring sounds like a simple means. Apparently there are dies to use in your favorite protective finish. I'll save the $20 for now. I'll try the food coloring since it can't hurt. There should be no signature or delivery fees. Maybe they decided it was to thick...

@thejackalsmark - The condenser also manages the outer body's heat by directing the hot air through the condenser. To what extent, I don't know. But the tech is pretty clear. Danm, now I'll have to characterize that too.

Enjoy your vacation @Diggy Smalls . It is good to know it made it through the system. Curious though they just drop it in the box. It is just an envelope.

Sideways thread avoidance. I should add on the material list above, do the math on the spacers. Consider how many disks you want to have. Each disk (washer) will need a slit. there are several length of spacers available. I picked 3/32 for compact disk-stacking but you need like 18 of them...

    Making Draw Tubes... Flower Quince?

Another validity question; what is a proper stain for something like this with heat and food-safe considerations? I tried a shoe-polish just for grins. Black is a bad color so I'll wait to post up a pic until I find something worth its salt. Advice?

I'm trying to judge effectiveness. You can buy the hardware. I suspect the new effective vapor path will not be as significant due to lack of diameter for the vape to roll around in. These are the parts to help conserve diametrical air space... Group buy? :spliff: ...and another tool for...

Thanks for the added detail. The parts list includes washers that are near net fit. The holes could be substituted with flats filed on the edge of the washers oriented in a spiral. The depth of the flat can be determined by draw resistance. With any luck, tightening the unit as a column...

    The Magic-Flight Box

I'd be all over it if I didn't have a whole shitload of other things to do. However I am here to say it works wonders! And I continue to advocate on your behalf and others to wake MF up to some common sense. The LB is still a wonderful hitter with nuances far surpassing the infamous VC.

    The Magic-Flight Box

I asked the same question and got no answers so I made one instead. I do like it though. Help me convince Magic Flight we need this! And I can probably help you make one. Got soldering skills?

That's where I wanted to keep the conversation @thejackalsmark . @Siebter - read my words more carefully... I implied concept. I've been following TM very close. I've seen the insides of the TM cooling units thank you. Disks in a tube. Parts list... Spacer -...

Looking forward to seeing how well the newer element work in the TM. @Siebter - didn't already get the TM? As to implementing this in a M-body, you might face issues making it hold fast to the outer tube without some sort of spring loading or force fit. Plenty of washers out there that will...

Wrong maker's post for the discussion of other vapes, but yea. The TM thread has some references.

It is a similar concept only using washers and thin-nuts inside a metal can instead of glass.

You are proposing putting washer on the OD of the condenser? I'm trying to picture this but I don't think this is right. The ID of the stem is 8mm. You would need the platform stack within the condenser. Or are you thinking removal of the condenser completely?
