From my experience the Ti KISS is a better performer. It seems to heat a little faster. When new and clean it definitely has a better taste. When it is well "seasoned" I cannot really taste any difference between the two. That just means that I prefer to keep it clean. As for durability, only...

It sounds like you might have the lower tube on upside-down. For my SR-71 the "H" in Hercules needs to be closest to the button end NOT the mouthpiece end. Hope this helps. :hmm:

In my experience the flashing lights on the charger means the batteries are on the verge of being fully charger. Soon to be steady green. Cloudy with a chance of :smug:.

Alcohol then allow to air dry. No water is necessary. Maybe use a hair dryer to speed up alcohol evaporation. Then a couple of pulses on the button to be sure alcohol is gone. Oh, the 7.4v Ti Gr2 KISS cart is absolute bliss.:mmmm:

I use the the Persei with longer tube from the SS Kit with 2x AW IMR 18650(2000mAh) for extended battery life with the SR-71 but not very stealthy. :o NOT sorry for the huge picture because this thing IS huge!:tup:

Re-edit of my Hercules SR-71 action video. It better shows the "Vapor Saber". This was done with a room temp Herc to begin with. I'm not sure why it got cut short before.

I agree about Vapor Warehouse. Totally legit and excellent customer service. I ordered a Persei, and when I ordered it, the description on their website was of the version that included the double top. The day I received it the description had changed to include upgrade to Ti KISS cart...

Here's a side by side comparison of the Ti KISS Cart and the Standard KISS. Note the coil is slightly off center. Also note the more shallow ceramic cup and lower number of turns around the wick on the Ti. Sorry for the massive pic.
