Interesting, I wonder if there are models that supports dual coils, also, it seems that you'll have to take the deck off every time you load a bowl, it's not the most convenient way to load but it might worth it to gain that form factor.

The only "real vapes", aka non 510 DIYS, are FF2 and glow 18. While I predicted that the glow wouldn't produce as good flavor as the ff2, I actually like my glow's favors better (I don't taste any wood btw). Maybe it's the lack of a metal bowl.

Yeah it's a bit trickier with kanthal. I wouldn't worry about it that much, you can check how the coil acts when you heat it at X watts and kinda roll with that logic when you hit it.

Don't make SS coils glow red, it might damage the coils and make you inhale things you don't want to inhale. I'm trying not to pass the stage that the coils barely starts to become red. But anyway, how does they work? Do you enjoy the SS coils more than the stock ones?

I'm using SFC, 28 inner ga and 36 (or 32, I'm not sure lol) outer ga, with my glow. And I'm using plain ss316l 20ga with my diy (mostly spiral coils though, I think I found it too hard to coil). 30ga won't perform well without glowing.

Think of it like a 510 with TCR (and pi), your faster draw forces TM to use more watts to compensate the temp lose, so it uses more pwer to stay at the temp it you set. That's why it doesn't actually cool the heater. It's not pure watts like a regular 510. IDK, dosing capsules works great with...

No I didn't, you can see the coils at Glow's thread though. I know it's not the same vol but it still heats up to a specific resistance, so I think you can configure it to reach a resistance that doesn't do damage and is hot enough.

If you set the TCR right and the mod stops heating at the right time, you can use autofire too. I'm doing this with my glow and it doesn't damage my wood.

In addition to what goldenbud said, I'd set up a TCR and hit it at higher max watt, like 55-60w or something. You would be able to choose when to go hard or to chill out with minimum risk to overheat things, depends on the temp you set up. You can share it with another person but the bowl...

Yeah, but actually I assumed that there are 14 stems available, so I thought users can carry some short dimpled stem with them, but in second thought, I don't think these are actually exists. If it could've been 18mm female wpa it could've been awesome, but I don't think it's possible.

Built this ss316L staggered fused clapton coils the other day, they perform great and gives me even AVB without steering. You need to be careful not to make them too long coils becuase one of the ends end up touching my wooden body and left a black ugly mark :( (That photo is kinda outdated...

TIL. NiCr doesn't work with TC btw (at least what I used - N80. The coils' resistence doesn't change as the coils heat up).
