I recommend the 30mm. I have both sizes and love the options. They both serve a purpose for me. 20 w a bubble cap is probably the most fun to use and is great for small dabs. The 30 is better for small and large dabs because of the larger surface area. I think the 30 has a slight edge on taste...

Yes a session of dabs will leave the area you use the liger a bit smelly. But nothing like a session of combustion. Dryer sheets and an empty roll of toilet paper might be wise. Is there an overhead fan you can use to ventilate the area? The smell is much more manageable than smoke.

Got my Mark Atech XXL Bubble Cap today and it's very nice for the 20mm. Not too big and gets a really nice seal. Whistles a bit, but I kinda dig that. Function is also very nice. These caps make the 20 my fav toy to play with. It's just so f'n consistent and fun to use at the same time.

Do yourself and favor and ditch that piece of metal. Only effecting taste in the the negative IMO.

I'll be interested how the customs Gordo made you work out. Part of me thinks the reason the riptide tastes so nice on the 30 is the size and how it lets air in. A tighter seal might not taste as good. I prefer the riptide with my 30 actually. I use bubble caps with the 20 now.
