Such a sweet solution on the switch! I happened to have a nice little straight forward push button switch which fits snugly in the paired coils. Got the FET switch to fit mostly within the original form-factor. Anyone know if FET switches have any parasitic drain?

Oh yea, that could be an issue if the clicker slapped the rim of the glass or some transferred energy from the clicker. That clicker is strong enough to make my 5" long stems jump from the table.

My direction is utilitarian. However, it is still portable - not connected to AC power. The charger will be the 4 amp CC/CV panel unit. I'd love to see a nail application. Yes of course it would work. The real question is how to manage temperature. That would be the bomb - and very doable.
