I thought about making one but at better than 6 inches long it seemed a bit unwieldy @stark1

VapCap DIY Induction Heating : Bits 'n' pieces

I'm assuming your use-case is camping and back-packing so convenient cubby stuffers typically works better than clumsy bulky things or even fragile things. Downside is when you realize just where you left it at the house when you are already at the trailhead. We hadn't yet talked about how to...

My dosing is about maintaining a level. If that level drops below a certain threshold it takes a few days to get back to the new normal.

That's the way I got to my conclusion. If it heats up with the same air-stream, then it must be taking the heat from the air-stream. The heat in the air-stream is my vape!

I was surprised how little glass condensed. Definitely knew wood was condensation resistant. BTW: the reverse CCD has a notable change in draw resistance. Impressed after an evening with it.

I can only recommend a thermal fail-safe. Standard solder in thermal fuse set to like 75'C. This is an example. Not sure where to source these at 10 amps. https://lgswitch.en.made-in-china.com/product/QSxnEeprBbRU/China-17amirp-Mini-Size-10AMP-Small-Home-Appliances-Overload-Protector.html...

@Planck - so lower numbers could translate to less condensation maybe?

Your circuit only needs 10 amps. Get a good deal on a name brand with high capacity. Plenty of 15A-continuous cells out there. Okay, good. So when you look at the fet switch, you probably see the positive trace goes straight from one connector to the other. This is true on the BMS board...

Two ways to go about this; put a 10 amp DC rated switch in the circuit and use that as the primary and only switch or we use a light duty switch that triggers a FET switch module.

Cool. Are we switching the positive battery lead or is the positive lead going through the mosfet switch?

Well what do you know - after cleaning up my last flame-out (full power IH is too hot for active heating :bang:) I took a close look at the '18-M CCD. It doesn't actually have a lip that captures it; okay, noted. Last time I replaced the CCD I used just the center to punch it in there. Worked...

That array pushed to 12v will output 1 amp minus whatever inefficiencies are within the converter. Again, be careful with those converters. They tend to be highly sensitive due to their wide range. Paralleling the cells will double your runtime, yes. Congrats on the license. It is indeed a...

Your requirements are right up my alley. Balance board v. 20A board - the 20A board incorporates the same circuit as the balance board. It just adds a high current FET switch. You could disable the 20A onboard balance circuit and use an external balance board, yes. That gives you onboard...

Good point @vandalizedbythelotus . If there's a screen, that too would heat. I like that. That may just solve the combustion problem with real-time IH heating. An update on the real time heating of the VapCap using an underpowered IH - "FUCK!" 1/2 bowl, 30 seconds, 1 draw, and dark ABV...

Maybe I should elaborate on my case for a balance charger first - I need a dockable 2S solution and this is perfect for just a charger on a stationary charging dock. Your project, indeed, use the 20A board. Route through the FETs as intended. That is how I set up the pack in the previous...

Funny you should say that @BabyFacedFinster . One interesting material would be the ceramic alumina. Super-neutral taste and completely inert. Wouldn't work with an IH though so that's out.
