That's good idea. Anyone with the skills could make and sell one without infringing any patents I'd think. I really need a glass bowl in my life. EDIT: Hint hint Edwyn, crack the whip on the current dude haha....just kidding of course. ;)

Any updates on the glass bowls? I really wanna use my nicer glass with the FP. Speaking of new glass I'm going to grab the new TAG egg they are pushing for Black Friday for the FP. It looks like it would be great with that perc. That's the donut perc they are copying. TAG - 10" Faberge Can...

On a happy note over the weekend I played with dry hits using my egg. The hits are very very smooth. I was really impressed. Oh...and ZERO restriction. :D

Sorry I meant to say Terp Trunk. EDIT: Over the weekend I dug out my cracked sapphire and after a good long soak I tested it out at 550. Works like a charm! :tup: Dabbing on cracked sapphire looks kinda badass :evil:

Also allowing "natural residue to fill in any gaps" isn't a positive. I keep my gear clean and will not be getting a bowl I have to let get dirty just to function properly. That glass bowl is gaining my interest more as this thread progresses.

Is that just the core or an actually insert with the dab pad? I don't recall Toro making actual inserts with the core. They sold the lil pucks and the banger with the core from what I saw. Eternal has core inserts. Curious what exactly you are using.

Yes, the problem only started happening after I torched the bowl (out of sheer boredom). In my case the bowl falls in my lap...quite the scare!

Anyone have the bowl stick to the SH when you clear it? I've had that happen a couple times. The bowl falls on my lap. Thankfully not hot enough to burn. I think I made a mistake torching the FP bowl. It expanded. I now appreciate the fact my bowl sticks most of the time.

What about the stuff that goes on in our scene? This is a very male dominated industry. I'm not just talking about trimmers getting harassed. I'm not sure what the cure is. Humans are naturally prone to do some evil stuff sadly and changing the mass culture will take decades. Interesting times...
