Just attempted a double decker at 575 with the SC. I loaded a small bowl, just enough for one good hit and it timed perfectly with the dab of rosin I used. I freaking love this thing! I wasn't sure if DD's would work at these low temps. They do and they taste pretty good. Talk about modulation...

I think the sticking might have more to do with reclaim than heat. I've found if I keep the base clean (I qtip it daily) along with the glass I use, it sticks less often. If I let it go more than a day it builds up a decent amount of reclaim.

I've gone back down to 575 after a lunch vape @ 600 that was too popcorny for me. 575 seems to be the sweet spot for me. I feel the terp modulation trumps the effects of a higher temp vape. It's great though how we can fine tune our experiences. I still think higher temps have a place here and...

If it's lighter than the SC I'd be interested. The SC adds too much weight to an already heavy device on a glass joint. It's one of the reasons I barely use the SC. Not worth the risk. What does it cover though. Looks too small to make a difference.

Speaking of those coil covers, I did some research looking for other options as I thought $40 was a bit much for that amount of metal...well the only other options are $99 and ugly as hell. So $40 isn't all that bad for the cover. $30 would be ideal though...:D:2c:
