I am trying to figure out how your top cap is staying in there. Are you using it without the outer heat shield? Sometimes the o-rings get misplaced when installing/removing. A little water (or spit, sorry:p) on the O-rings helps when installing. Wait... Which Nibbler and which cart? Mine is...

To get the oil back out of the lower chamber I usually stand the upper tank upright with the rod in place (with the aid of a dabber with a round eye on the end). Then gently heat the lower chamber with a lighter or torch on low, and pour the oil back into the upper chamber. ( kind of reminds me...

It appears to be shorting out when you tighten it. Check the ends of the wires and make sure they are not sticking out enough to make contact when tightened.

I ordered some screens from @VaporWarehouse that were stainless and pretty heavy. also they are "heat Treated" whatever that means. They are definitely a darker color than I am used to.
