Just be certain that what you add doesn't add tension in the system. The button contact on the electric board seems to be a relatively "weak" point in certain TM2 so just be carefull that your fix doesn't force on it in the wrong direction. Hope that makes sense 😅

The problem will be taking the capsule out of the stem. You will have to push it from the other end or let the capsule protrude enough to be able to grab it to take it out (in this case you'll also have to be careful when I setting the stem in the chamber). Each time I straw suck herbs in my TM...

They don't fit in the stem. You drop the capsule in the stem chamber and sit the stem on it. When I use S&B capsules I use them with the lid (have to try without), and I flip the caps for my last draw.
