thats what im using a chrome hammer top it makes controlling the bender very easy oh and as for it hitting like a freighttrain lets not forget bender was 40% steam engine lol

i would unscrew the top and bottom chambers check for any leaking if its clean take off the top cap and check that no oil has crept up the sides if it has push it back down with a dabber or your herc cleaning tool if your oil is safely in the coil just fire it up your not going to hurt anything

i dont have any experience myself but ive seen someone mention it in one the threads on fc that the herc worked in temp control mode on the dna 40 based deviced but not the yihi chip devices Edit i would love to try temp control but im waiting to see what happens with the iris v2 first id much...

I've seen a few people report the herc works with temp control on the dna40 based devices but not the other chip sets at the time they said the other devices don't read ceramic right

The sr74x was designed more for a single coil I don't think it would perform properlywith 2 coils but I haven't tried it I may be wrong

The sr71 has a friction fit on the gold center post instead of the spring loaded one of the 74 it also has a larger upper chamber better suited to running two coils and has a lower ohm rod that gets hot faster and provides faster vapor production I haven't used my sr74 since I got my 71
