wrapping up the NXL should work out, but if you're really concerned with breaking it and looking pretty isn't important, why not get a cheap acrylic bubbler/bong from a smoking shop. with a rubber band or 2 and 6 inch of tubing, one of these would work for one handed use.

i should do the same. I have now lost 2 mouthpieces from Hercs and i am down to using the flat topped one that came with the NXL

LHS where a friend works just got in a bunch of W9tech products. I like the think that my showing off the Hercules helped make that happen. :)

a while ago i saw a pic of a custom made tube to hold 2 AW14500 with a HVD top to power the herc. i thought it was in this thread but now i can't find the post.

AW brand was recommended to me, and I have be satisfied with them. i bought my first set from Lighthound.com about a year ago and they still hold charge. now with the 20% off sale going at W9, I bought 2 more sets of AW from them (and a NiblerXL)

the 18350 stock batteries may be fine for light duty work, but the herc is too power hungry and after a very short period of time, they stop holding a charge. my AW 18350 batteries are still kicking strong.

i solved that problem by carving an O ring groove below the mouthpiece on the heat shield to relocate the top O ring. works great

@Sleepin in CA i got my NXL working with some air conditioning Orings and it does work great. now that I have a back-up Herc, should i try setting one up for flowers? Would it work better with the 71 or the 74? (i have some new ti and ss coils)

whats that about? I too have a single and double top to send in.

@Sleepin in CA the tube length is ok, but it is too wide. neither the top or bottom orings really contact the glass. i'm headed out for O rings.

i tried them all, there is still enough room to rattle. if i hold it centered, the oring doesn't even touch the glass

mine that just arrived came with 7 orange orings. all the same size

i think i need a thicker oring for the stubby top that fits what bigger oring? the ones it came with all look the same

can someone talk me through attaching this nibler xl onto my herc? there seems to be a gap around the oring on top so it won't pull through the herc
