    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

andrecanucks - The whip tubing provided by Arizer is a Japanese medical grade poly-vinyl. On the tubing it will have printed Kuri Tec Klearon K010 By Kuriyama 5/16" ID x 7/16" OD 70F Non-Toxic PUC NSF-51 Canada K101004 14:07. This tubing is not sub-par from a health standpoint.; note the...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

This is probably what you are looking for, it's in a different thread . . . http://www.fuckcombustion.com/viewtopic.php?pid=93371#p93371 But if this is what you're looking for, you should also read down the thread particular from post #40 where there is a response from Arizer and discussion...

    Discontinued The Oracle Infrared Vaporizer

Just to add my amen, Canna Hanna. It's the reviews and info from guys like the two of you that make this the best vaporizer info source by far. Instant-on and no-stir are great features, but at the end of the day it's quality and efficiency that are paramount. And if the Oracle can produce...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I hear you. And that's what I would have thought, too. But I wasn't sure by his wording. :)

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Yes, I've been told there were 3 generations of the Extreme. After the original there were 2 improvements each of which better located the heat sensor and consequently changed the temp readout. I presume that the "4.0" was derived from the Q following the 3rd gen of the Extreme.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I understood that. Since you're using the whip mouthpiece to connect to your glass and the mouthpiece is not a GonG joint (as is the elbow), I'm just curious how your fitting the mouthpiece into your glass.

So you're not using a GonG joint at your glass connection?

    Discontinued VapeXhaleLabs Presents: The Cloud

I just wanted to commend (most of) the posts this past week. In particular, max offered some needed perspective. Yes, announcement expectations were set too high. VHX has accordingly fallen on its sword, which is all it can or should do. In the interest of balance it's apropos to remind...

    Discontinued VapeXhaleLabs Presents: The Cloud

No need to belabor that 90% figure. Actually meant it with tongue partially in cheek I was cavalier in having tossed it out that way; shouldn't have done that. Of course it's overstated. That said, and so being straight about it for a moment now . . . IMO any such reported number should be...

    Discontinued VapeXhaleLabs Presents: The Cloud

Quite right again. And, the money. (Btw, the 90% is the avg new small business failure rate in the U.S.) From what I've read here from VXH - with the caveat that the info is very limited and only anecdotal - they've done a pretty good job so far. But . . . there is only so much time before...

    Discontinued VapeXhaleLabs Presents: The Cloud

Thanks, I'm blushing :) . . . ~35 yrs in Silicon Valley, umpteen start-ups, more launches than I can recall. Quite right, things never do. That's why it's called a "plan". ;) Of course, many start-ups don't even have that - entirely seat-of-pants, hand-to-mouth, make-it-up-as-you-go...

    Discontinued VapeXhaleLabs Presents: The Cloud

I think it might be helpful to revist a SM post back on page 159 . . . There are key two key pieces of data here. The first is that VXH has a built a backlog. It's one thing to build anticipation, it's another to have actual orders on the books. Backlog can be shown to suppliers as evidence...

    Discontinued Vaporfection viVape

I took a look. There are several, including this one (now, don't shoot me - and the title is her's, not mine): New ViVape Is Here! This may have been a stealth hit by a competitor. Or maybe Vaporfection just has a great sense of humor. All I could think of was Lucy in the chocolate factory...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Whether I use the bag or the whip, I attach it to my bubbler. I've replaced the stock tubing with silicone, using only ~3" from elbow to bag. After blowing the bag, I pull the elbow, remove the screen, and put the elbow into the bubbler's GonG joint. With the whip, I put an elbow (w/o screen...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Yes, AFAIK and IME it should be absolutely quiet. As I said before, there are electrical components that can make strange noises when failing, but this is such a simple device that I would not expect that. If the pitch is higher than a disc spin-up and you are hearing a mechanical like sound...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Somewhere on this thread there are pics of the unit's innards. It's a pretty straightforward design. No, there is only one fan. Usually fan failure is in the bearing, with a higher pitch than a disk drive spin-up. What you could be hearing is heat induced expansion/contraction of materials...

We're not gonna ask if the wife sees your posts. You were OK until that "as I would know" remark. And just remember, truth and logic has nothing to do with it.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Since you can see the vapor coming out "just after" your done, I suspect that what you are seeing is the vapor that is remaining in the tube after your hit. Try lifting the elbow and taking one more hit to clear the tube. Otherwise you are wasting vapor. ;) The "cyclone effect" is how the...

    Discontinued The Oracle Infrared Vaporizer

Canna Hound - Thanks for the clarification. I was thinking (hoping) that perhaps you were referring to identical vapor density. I can see that maybe being possible within a load range, but at least with my Q there is a sort of minimum load required to obtain dense vapor (although obviously...
