    Discontinued VapeXhaleLabs Presents: The Cloud

Am I "obj"? I expect you're right that cash is tight, and of course 3% is nothing to sneeze at. Obviously this is VapeXhale's call. I would just say that handling cash transactions is not trivial, particularly in any volume. There is manual work required, additional overhead, and...

    Discontinued VapeXhaleLabs Presents: The Cloud

I don't recall seeing a timeline quoted in this thread. Besides the product option, VapeXhale will need to be able to handle international order fulfillment, either direct or through a channel in that region.

    Discontinued VapeXhaleLabs Presents: The Cloud

For sure, a nice gesture. We just need to keep in mind that the payment processing capability is very important to VapeXhale's business model. Like most start-ups, the company needs to establish a marketplace presence, first using a direct sales channel before it can move to distribution...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

My condolences re your dog. We are so attached to our Pom that I can't even think about her being gone. That said, good to hear that you dodged that glass shards bullet - that could have been uber bad. Remarkable how much difference a properly working piece of equipment makes! :)

Presumably by "Air" you meant "Cloud". May I humbly suggest egg on face? :) Check the Cloud thread.

Thoughts On The State Of The Vaporizer Industry

Indeed, passion and ego. There are soooooo many examples of this, including when ruthlessness is added in, the good crushing the best.

Thoughts On The State Of The Vaporizer Industry

I agree 100% re the legality issue; forgot to mention that. Effectively this cuts off the prospect of angel money, so development must be funded out of the principals' pockets and/or cash flow from an existing product and/or private investors which will be by definition limited. While there...

Thoughts On The State Of The Vaporizer Industry

Engineer - Vaporizers are still a cottage industry. Storz & Beckel, the largest, only has <40 employees. An educated guess would be that most companies have no more than a dozen FTE's, even half that or less. There appear to be more than a half-dozen engineering disciplines required in...

    Discontinued Vaporfection viVape

OK; thanks. I'm curious though, why is removing the whip important to the life of the element? Perhaps to facilitate the continuous cooling airflow?

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

jackass20 - It's tough to answer unless having experience with a vaporite to compare to. And density is also somewhat subjective. My experience is the same as J.R.R.Tokin's. I have combustion friends that, when they pull off my Q, get every bit as much as they can handle. The impression I...

    Discontinued Vaporfection viVape

I agree - thanks Engineer for a very helpful review. Your findings are consistent with earlier speculation (a few pages back) voiced re the ViVape, before and after communication with Vaporfection. Your concern re the continuous airflow is of note, as this was observed in previous less...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

That's a good point. I also noticed in the pic that you have a lot of resin build-up in the whip; that could be a factor. Some users harvest the resin and clean the whip. I bought a 25' length of 3/8" medical grade silicone tubing from Amazon and periodically just replace the whip (another...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Perhaps some material is getting past the screen? After a session have you lifted the bowl to see if any material is on the top of the element? If so, it could also be spilling down around the element. I shape my screen concave and place it in the bowl dome up for a snug fit, tucked in with...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

A 3ft whip can also add a bit of condensation and dilution, although this is a subjective thing and so YMMV. I also occasionally use the fan. Just fyi, I checked with Arizer about that and they recommended not leaving the fan running after taking a hit, as the water chamber creates back...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I strongly advise not to use your Q until you have replaced the heater cover. Even though you cannot see any particles does not mean that there aren't any. Depending on the type of glass, it is possible for there to be extremely small shards that are very difficult to see. IMO it is not...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

The only difference I notice with a longer whip is the drag, especially since I pull thru a bubbler. Of course, being an oldie it's likely that I'm more sensitive to that compared to you young bucks. :)

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Nice. Wouldn't the draw be easier if you shortened the tubing?

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Sexy, yes. But, ouch, expensive. I have to wonder though about the drag with that attached whip. I'm using the Headford 11-slit inline bubbler connected with a short piece of 3/8" ID silicone, very little drag and less than half the price.
