You can toggle the bowl on and off by using the settings button and the (+) for on...or the (-) for off, but I have not personally seen the use for this, but my guess is so you can program the settings without heating up your load...but there is no reason/advantage to just have the unit on for...

Its the power switch...but its not the 'main' one, its the only one. The unit does not have to be powered on like the Orig.DV to get a charge and there is no procedure to turn it on either...its simplified

Agreed. I think thats why the cotton layer might not be a bad idea and if you pushed the screens down the tube to cover the holes...you would have to cover all 4 holes to prevent material from coming through and the screens are the same size as the big circle ones for the original dv...not that...

I did bho and hash, high temp, lid off, plugged in...no big clouds, doesnt get red hot...it works, but give up the big cloud dreams with this device as-is...unless your using 'juice'
