Do you have any battery issues? I swear mine is weird, I charged it about an hour and a half took it outside tried to turn it on and...nothing, I then plugged it in at mcsonalds for 10 minutes and it said it had a full battery and turned on??? ...like I said weird.

Those four holes on the bottom go straight out to the grill to the ascent, IMO that is the source of the smell and the reason there is no draw resistance

For ME thats the issue, but it could just be possible I got one with a weak battery, I havent heard any of the other reviewers bring up the issue...so dont let it bum you out, the ascent has lots of other cool features that will blow your socks off

No draw resistance at all, I never minded the resistance on the pax until after the ascent...I wouldnt say I hate the draw resistance of the pax...but it is a little annoying after using the ascent for a while And IMO I think thats the reason the ascent smells a little more than other vapes

Depends on what you mean by 'better'...what are you looking for in a vape? IMO the areas the pax beats the ascent (DEMO UNIT ONLY) are Size Battery Life Odor emission (flowers not electrical) ...if none of those 3 are deal breakers, the ascent is DEFINITELY the vape for YOU! (Its fucking awesome)
