If you have an original dv you can use that charger, if the charger is infact the problem...

I JUST did mine...and I DO get air even if I cover the holes of the screen with the straw extended...but I dont have any of the other issues and even with the air flow it still functions great and gives me clouds

People keep saying davinci needs to widen the air path for better hits but I think the wider path is what is making it harder to get vapor for some, think about it...it has no draw resistance, the solo is said to be the best by some and it also has some of the greatest draw resistance. ..ijs:2c:

The ascent is over-all a quality unit...there are some people having problems, but most love it. The main problem with it IMO is the outter peices (screen, side panels, ect)...followed by a smaller percentage that are having trouble burning the unit completly off In working order it is very low...

Fyi...the demo units had a gap near the unhinged side too, I think the clasp was put In place to reduce it, but even on mine the gap doesnt go to the middle, if any vapor or pressure is being lost I dont think its from there or if it is, it is not that much...imo

I wonder...my first ascent (stealth and I loved it) has issues, peices falling off, random shut offs and it died completely in 3 weeks of what appeared to be software issues... Then I got the burl one...not a single problem yet

The included pouch work OKAY for after use smell, my concern Is smell while in use... @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd what temp do you use on both? You can smell the load more while it is heating with pax and dv, but when you try to blow out of the davinci, more vapor comes out than with the pax.
