Vector is commonly described as the cleanest Butane available. Recommended for honey oil extractions. Your observations don't sync with common descriptions of the vector product all over the internet.

They all melt. With or without the X. I have not experienced this, but many feel the "non-X" stems hold up better. Personally, I've had old non-X from i-inhale days melt as well as the new and improved X models.

The old mouthpieces on my i-inhale were turned... no X. The new mouthpieces shipped this month to me are "molded" with the X.

Iolite contends that the new X mouthpieces are better. So you won't see them sending out any remaining old "turned" mouthpieces.

It doesn't actually melt, but yes, Ultem1000 is the stuff. It softens to the point where the stems basically fall off. Old lathed ones, new molded ones, really new molded ones, they all do this. Iolite was very vocal a while ago that this mess was all due to improper lathed (turned)...
