I'd think even using a 2pc/3pc smashes off a shitload of the trichs. I don't use a coin or some bullshit and don't shake my grinder so I don't collect a ton of kief but at least it's collected nicely in a pile for me at the bottom rather than smashed all against the walls in those solid flakes...
