    Dynavap VapCap

I don't think I'm in the market for an M, but once the hoopla dies down I'll probably pick up a new SS tip. I like the look of it, particularly what appears to be more cuts in the distal end of the tip. That's gotta give you even less air restriction. I definitely can't go many seconds past...

    Dynavap VapCap

@darkspider64 I'm sure you will enjoy your BB9. They look cool in both colors. Another stem worth looking at comes from @RogueGuy on ebay. I have his Robusto stem, which is very thick boro glass, 4 inches long and has an airhole. I love mine, although I want to try the Tradesman which looks...

Very similar here. I grind up about a week's worth of herb and keep it in a small mason jelly jar. I use the vapcap like a straw and just suck up a small amount. Not a microdose, but enough to maybe half fill the chamber. When spent, I aim the tip into the abv jar and just blow it out. I...

    E-Nano from Epickai

The nano is great with concentrates and a little organic cotton. I only increase the heat by a half step, if at all. It is a tight squeeze, but with a little manipulation (no cutting) you can push a Fury 2 concentrate mesh pad into a glass gong. I found it made more of a mess than cotton and...

    Ice hash ?

I would love to try this type of hash again. It's been 30 years since I last had this type of hash while visiting Amsterdam. I had reviewed the ice hash techniques and decided that it would be too risky for me. By that time I had already thrown away a 1/2 oz of good herb while trying to make...

Those gasket rings used to drive me mashugana. Probably a big reason why I've gone with glass, condenserless stems.

    Dynavap VapCap

I don't get herb in the cap, even with small packs and inverting into an IH. For the most part, once you get the first heat cycle going I believe the melting resin on the flower holds the herb pack together. I also join the club of not using the airport much at all. I prefer mouthpulls on...

+1 My @Pipes Caldron is the biggest advancement in my Dynavap experience. Much more than any change in stem type. The second biggest was the decreased resistance of a 2019 tip compared to my old second generation tips.

    E-Nano from Epickai

We are expected to keep the discussion focused around the nano on the nano thread. But it's not taboo to mention Ed's TNT woodscents vapes. I don't own one, but it's a log vape that can also accept a dynavap device. They are highly spoken of, but do cost quite a bit. Ed is a great vendor...

    Divine Tribe atty's

I couldn't agree more. Trying to use the V4 was like trying to drive blindfolded. This coupled with my lack of technique had me step back from the unit. It now collects dust mites.

When I was younger, we used to call this pulling out early. Not fullproof by any means. ;) Yes, sometimes it just doesn't seat all the way and needs to be pushed in a little further. I believe you can put it in and take it out easier when the coil and tip are warm. I have not taken to the...

    Shrooms

I didn't know if shroom discussion was allowed on the FC, but if so I wouldn't mind talking about them. I have been reading a lot lately about microdosing shrooms as a way of improving mood, reducing depression, etc. without much of the trippy nature. Of course, that would be eating not...

    Best vaporizer for rosin???

I'm not contradicting what has been recommended so far. I own a banger set-up with a 710 coil and an Auber 300. It is a super set up that works flawlessly. I press rosin so that is my main source of concentrate. I have to say that I don't use the dab set up very much because the dab hits...

    Dynavap VapCap

I tried to pop my stainless CCD out with a chopstick and the damn thing bent right in half and didn't let go. I replaced it with a DDave screen. Much better. @Alexis, in the winter we swear by using essential oregano oil. A few drops under the tongue each day helps keep the nasties away most...

    Dynavap VapCap

Fuck, this thread moves fast. For the desktop @ataxian, No more nano? In my mind, a vapcap is an entirely different beast from a battery powered rig. While you can get great rips from both types, there's a special ritual that goes with using a VC that you have to try and see if...

Curious about the surface of the vortex being anodized. On the Simrell website there are several warnings about not using certain cleaning solutions, not rubbing the stem on glass fittings, and being careful not to let the Ti parts tap against each other when cleaning because it will scratch...

I do like the ease of use with the condenserless stems. I've used the DD wands as well as the RWW Robusto. I want to try a Tradesman now: https://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Tradesman-Stem-for-Dynavap-Vapcap-by-The-Rogue-Wax-Works/283615357201?hash=item4208cae911:g:dvoAAOSwOTddfn2O I wonder if...

    Dynavap VapCap

Yes on all. When you order, just leave in the notes to @DDave which type of tip you have, SS or Ti and how old your tip is. I've ordered a couple, and for some of the older generation tips it mattered in terms of the wand diameter. They work very well and he has a great reputation. FWIW...

You don't need to, but if your clean the whole tip in iso there is the concern of soaking the o-rings. I did take my DC out to clean it. As stated earlier boiling water temps were not necessary, but it did work like a charm. In fact, I doubt I even needed to soak in iso as the super hot water...
