    Discontinued Inhalater XP

Might not be the case here but I have found that new batteries can have a weak initial discharge. Once cycled a couple times feel better? Just a thought.

Just a little further clarification. The EVO comes in 2 configurations. SV (6V), uses 2 ea. CR123A batteries, no indicator on the bottom. - same as T1 LV (3.7V), uses single battery, LV stamped on bottom. -will burn out if used with T1 config. So do not use a LV on SV setup as it will burn...

OK, finely got my jaw back in place. I think this is the best type of option I've ever seen as it completely changes the vape. In essence your getting two vapes for the price of one And two completely different animals. Not an attachment for cooling or solving problems. But to transform the...

I'm still in shock. Have to pick my jaw up off the ground. Conduction to convection just like that.....frickin awesome. Low on herb-conduction mode1 In the green-convection mode2 Would this be a reasonable assessment?

No need to apologise, I'm just overly cautious with batteries these days. I've just never gotten the FV that hot. Now bring on that vid  Vito.........you have us climbing the wall with charged FVs in hand.

I change out the batteries if hot. Learned from the T1 that over heating batteries depletes the performance big time. Also, IMO, putting on the charger hot is not the best idea neither. Just mentioning as it's a snow ball effect. Performance depletes and your "on" time becomes longer overheating...

Oh yeah, it's a keeper. Love this thing, it's definitely key to be able to see the vape start. From there you can take as little or push the line for a lung full. For anyone wondering about 510 drip tips. I found using an empty 510 tube with a thin piece of shrink wrap and the center...

Ascent Vaporizer by Da Vinci (pre-sale thread)

From the first glimps I got. Immediately reminded me of a Star Trek Type 1 Phaser.

Your very welcome and thanks. Can I suggest you make the center piece with the screen already incorporated into it. Like bubble the top and drill nice small holes? As for the heat, in 3.7 volt it really doesn't seem a big issue. Gets hot and can burn but can touch briefly. I think for this...

I missed this thread last night. Today a co-worker of mine gave me this and said well here's yours. Pretty much the same as JoeKickass's idea and works great. He just picked up 5 for $1 finger lights, bent coat hanger, used shrink wrap for a protection layer and... These mods folks are...

^^Very nice.^^ Special order from across the pond. I modded a Bolt for a co-worker today to have a lit latchable switch for use with his Bulli. The original switch was a typical horn switch. Talk about a tight fit. But he had already purchased for the task before I started to use...

Took the numbers down and should be fairly close. I think the base piece might be need further explanation. The 510 connector is pressure fit into the bottom of base. The threaded part is standard but the outer attached cylinder which pressure fits into the base is larger than standard...

Hey 2click, I believe you missed what OF had said a little while back, and this arrangment might have possibilities. The T1 less heater core, 510-3/8 nut. and.... OF, does this still have possibilities? Just guessing on the fit. Only problem would be if using 18650s and spring mod the...

Good stuff, glad I caught your interest. Oh to have those kind of tools. I would never leave the shop. I shall get the callipers out next week and take a few numbers down. You will have to keep us up on your progress. Anything I can help with, shoot me a PM. Pipes

Well I have gone back to the AWG 28 for the reason of quicker start up time. However, before I get to that, I thought it might be a good idea to kind of make some better sense of this thread. I know if trying to read through it must get confusing as to what is the best gauge wire, voltage...

Not a bad find. Might be a good back up unit. First time I saw those particular ones. If anything like the knock offs I got a while back, I would not expect them to last through the punishment of many re-builds. The other issue with the knock offs is the unknown metals underneath that chromed...

I totally agree and just realizing the numbers should definitely have people think twice about playing with non-recommended batteries. And as Flash stated, they are working on an optional upgrade for use with 3.6 batteries and IMO we should calm down until Flash gives the go ahead. Including...

When Li-ions state they can push 10 amps, ever notice they do not state what the voltage is at that current? It's a thing called internal resistance and most do not pay attention to this spec if it is even stated. My guess is, if a Li-ion is pushing 10 amps the output will be down around the 3...

Never the less it's good information even if ball parked. Gives for a better power comparison between running 3 volt vs 3.6 volts numbers wise. So we basically have 30 watts with 3 volt and 40 watts with 3.6 volts. Or 30% increase in power moving towards the standard 18650 voltage. EDIT: in...
