Yeah, I also found that happens when I use my IMR batteries. Have to start the draw a little earlier. They don't last as long though. And they seem temperamental as they tend to deliver more in the first couple seconds of pushing the button. ? Perhaps OF could expand the explanation. EDIT: Man...

So to clarify, after you cleaned with suggestions from above, you still have a problem? I found after the cleaning (fine steel wool in my case) and lubrication it screws in smoothly. Have only had to clean a couple times when I feel the gritty feeling start. No big deal. Removing the threads and...

Me too. The feel was gritty and wanted to bind. It got a point where it bounded up and could only turn 1/8 turn back and forth and felt like it was hopeless. Scared the hell out of me and did not want to vise it. I sprayed some "100 uses" type spray lube and it then started to turn a bit more...

Sounds a little long but not outrages. Mine took over 2 hours first charge on a 1 amp charger. The supplied charger is 1/2 amp. You may want to consider a dual 1 amp. Earlier info here. Hopefully Flashvape will offer one down the road.? IMO, 2 batteries will just scrap one through 4 is better. :D

Nice find on those switches. You'll likely need to use a "skirt" on the latching switch to cover a few threads to get the proper depth. The specs sure look good. EDIT, spec is AC rating. But still a good possibility. EDIT2, AC/DC ratings explained much more in depth below by...

    DIY Bulli Vaporizer

A quick update on a couple experiments. One is the heater coil. I thought I'd try the AWG 26 gauge one more time. The problem with the first attempt was the heat up took too long and was just not as consistent for clouds as thinner gauge. So I figured that there was already a lot of metal...

I like it, a power reference meter, so to speak. Great for matching power levels. The fun continues..... And OF, don't take the job of Pope, we need you here. Besides, not sure how the Vatican will be with a vaping Pope. A first for sure, and you'd have to learn to tweet too. ;)

Have you used the Cera with other carts without problems? Reason I ask is to eliminate the power or handle connections as the problem.

That's a pretty high nic level. Will give quite the throat hit. If no flavour added, you might want to add 10-15% distilled water or vodka to dampen the throat hit a bit. :2c:

It's actually the other way around. Speeding up the draw will cool the element. Will get an initial heat burst but if draw is not dropped off the heat will. Just thinking this might be where it's going wrong?

Public Service Announcement: Do not look around for rubber caps that might fit snugly onto the Cera switch. These culprits can be very dangerous as can keep the switch engaged if anything gets into them and pushed down too far. These rubber caps are used on the ends of many tube type...

I think if not offered by TET, there will be a good reason for it. For that reason it appear's Cera users will have to fend for themselves. Since I do not have a Cera it makes it hard to find an off the shelf fit. However, in doing a google search for "latch button switch 19mm" and looking at...

I was thinking they should treat it like a Sauna or Hot tub and use a mechanical timer. Might have other benefits as well.?? Like a mini egg timer of sorts. Pic for illustrational purposes only. Ding, Ding.....your done. Or hey...my turn!!!

Just to add to Flash's good advise. One should bare in mind that batteries get hotter faster when in their lower end of discharge. Hence you feel the need to push longer for the same result heating the batteries faster. Take into count the delay before you feel the excessive heat might make the...
