    getting rid of toxins at 202 C (395 F)

Completely agree. I would also speculate (opinion here) that the curve that would technically exist probably has a hefty spike at a certain temp (assuming pressure is a constant) and so our rough vaporization temps are still a useful metric. nucleo, I wouldn't for a moment think any vape...

    getting rid of toxins at 202 C (395 F)

Well, true. If we're discussing the vaporization of a material, I guess we have to assume the material in question is not enclosed in a test tube or trichome. Otherwise, once molecular movement starts (above absolute zero) it would seem there would be some trace amount of vaporization starting.

    getting rid of toxins at 202 C (395 F)

That's as funny as it is true. Also, I myself was re-directed from this erroneous thought process (toxins released pre-combustion) by Paka in another FC thread. I also thought WatTyler's explanation was on the money. Actually, vaporization is likely best characterized as a curve. There are...

    getting rid of toxins at 202 C (395 F)

This is based on a single, solitary NORML study done in 2001. That's the only place I've ever seen that discussion. I also believe it is highly suspect. Have a look at this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaporizer_(cannabis) Here they detail some studies that are openly contradicting the 2001...

Ed's TnT Wooden Vapor Tubes & Vapor Stems

Very nice philosophy. When things are hand-crafted, there's a bit of magic.

    Discontinued Vapir NO2

No worries. I don't care about the cost of the unit. It's the principle of the thing.

Nice letter Vito. They need to know that we know and as consumers we don't at all appreciate

    Discontinued Vapir NO2

Hi Vito. Thank you for wanting to help. I now believe that some early units had some sloppy soldering or similar. Over a few episodes, I have heated the unit for hours on end, trying to burn off whatever is the source. Improved a bit after first burn-in, then no further improvement. Back when I...

Ed's TnT Wooden Vapor Tubes & Vapor Stems

Ed, these are works of art. Seriously. And being an all-natural material makes them all the more appealing.

    Discontinued Vapir NO2

Well, the NO2 by itself clearly can put out huge clouds, so likely a seal issue. Another fun video, though. Months ago there was a fellow in this thread looking to mod the NO2. Simply replace a few parts. I loosely followed his goal. Haven't heard back. I suspect the initial need is gone...

Dangers of Vaping - Our Beloved Waxy Build-up?

So we're talking solvent-extracted waxes here?

Dangers of Vaping - Our Beloved Waxy Build-up?

Maybe this is a discussion about vaping oil? Not the dried herb?

Dangers of Vaping - Our Beloved Waxy Build-up?

I'm not a waxologist, but waxes that I'm familiar with only melt at the temps we vape at. Solvents extract wax, and perhaps solvent-extracted wax behaves differently. I'm not seeing how plant wax in plant material (not solvent extracted) can vaporize at these relatively low temps. Paraffin...

Dangers of Vaping - Our Beloved Waxy Build-up?

Maybe I'm mis-understanding, but you're thinking that low-level heat is volatilizing wax?

Ed's TnT Wooden Vapor Tubes & Vapor Stems

Vito, didn't you have a comment or a Vid where you felt one of these stems cooled the MFLB? Cooled the vapor, that is...

    The Magic-Flight Box

We don't want this to go to Vito's head, but he's a lot of fun. A character who is also informative and helpful. We all should have a Vito in our neighborhood

    The Magic-Flight Box

Put the screws to 'em, Magic Flight! It's one thing to be tricked as a consumer. Completely different to knowingly sell a fraud.

    The Magic-Flight Box

That rear hole I imagine is there to fascilitate the installation of the metal rod conductor. That's my guess. If you remove that rear battery gasket / push ring, you see that the rear hole only ports to the battery chamber. While the path from the rear hole to the chamber isn't sealed (see...

    Discontinued Vapir NO2

  Nice fairy tale. Do me a favor and ignore my posts, please. My life will be enriched. For the rest of the readership-at-large, I'm quite sure that if my NO2 didn't (still) have these issues, I'd love it. I've stated early in this thread that the unit has a great number...
