    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Since getting my HydraLine I rarely use anything else. I love this thing.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I agree that the Q is a great machine, used to be my daily driver. But "no other vape can produce such thick consistent vapor"??? No offense meant, but I'll wager you haven't hit a Cloud, which produces vapor as thick as anyone can handle and keeps on going that way without missing a beat...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

The Cloud does not carry an odor. Sure, put your nose down to the joint and you'll pick up a slight smell, depending on how often you clean the inside of the joint (at the ridge there tends to be resin build-up, you want to keep that clean before it hardens too much). In general, the Cloud is...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Probably nothing wrong, not unless it is/gets very loud - especially if it's just with the heat expansion during heat up. There have been many reports of noises without consequence. If you're still concerned, drop an email to Keith or Steve at Arizer, IME they're very responsive.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

What about one of Tstat's stands for the Cloud HydraTube? He offers an option now of using a male gong joint to sit the HT on. The Q's Cyclone should fit on it perfectly.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I have very sensitive bronchial tubes and pharanx; I can't handle the big hits many here do. The Cloud is by far the easiest and most comfortable vape for me, much more so than, e.g., my Extreme-Q. Coughing is a reflex reaction because THC is an expectorant, like those cough medicines intended...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Seems to me an alternate (or additional?) explanation could be the turbulence in the ELB, which IIRC we discussed in the first Cloud thread. I notice after a hit that the herb is distributed all around the inside of the ELB, and that it's not concentrated at the top (as one might expect with...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I suggest you scan this thread particularly the last half, or maybe search on "hydratube" or "ht". There is a heckuva lot of discussion about the tubes, the variety of which has been signficantly added to in the last few months. You'll get an idea of the differences in the action between them. I...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I was following your logic until you got to the cano. For sure it's built like a tank and blows bags great, but you can get a close-enough bag result for a helluva lot less $ - for that extra $40 now for a Q you can save yourself more than $400 later. Or when you have a bit more bread you...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

There have been many improvements since the vtower. Arizer counts (but doesn't itemize) +20 in the Q "update" earlier this year to what is unofficially version 4 of the Q. I don't know if the heater changed, for sure there have been changes to the fan, sensors, remote, electronics, etc. since...

That's an excellent guess. It looks like the front & back of the housing.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

After SliM's post, and my earlier claim that the shield is black anodized, I took a closer look. I was wrong, it is not anodized. I used a high strength solvent, and the black finish will indeed rub off (with a lot of elbow grease). The finishing strokes that look like brush effects, are as...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Conceivably, but to me it looks more like the shield is burnished before taking the dip - that's a very common technique that's been around for almost as long as :myday: . By the way about the heat: The shell is both a shield and a heat-sink. The housing (which is thinner than it looks) throws...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I suspect that the primary purpose of the flare was to act as a stop to prevent the tube from being pulled up too far. Removing it does reduce cost, but IMO by far the most important and prob expensive part of the tube is the mid-section with the orifices which have tight tolerances. It had been...

So this Cloud does not have the flare at the bottom?

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I would just add that you might want to start at 9 o'clock. Some prefer a lower setting; the 10:30 hash mark is popular. As you move up to higher temperatures, more compounds in the herb get vaporized moving you from a head high to more of a body high. You'll need to experiment to find your...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

This is my experience as well. The light is green in 5-8 minutes, and I can hit it then, but I find it more satisfying to wait a little longer until the heat has permeated the housing and fully heated the joint. Then after a short prime hit I get a thick cloud, and the next is all that I can...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Ordinarily manufacturers only announce major releases. Within a typical release cycle there can be quite a number of changes. The unwritten rule is that interim changes are only announced on a "need to know" basis, or for marketing reasons. This forum understandably sorta bends that rule because...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I wonder if the source of confusion is the term "fused". I faintly seem to recall the mention of an adhesive, but can't remember is that was a was or a to be; however, in the OP's pics looking down from the top, the heater wrap looks to be a different material than what I saw. What I have seen...
