Yes, the whole nugs vaping will not produce as much vapor since there is some gaps which allows hot air to bypass the load, imho it may be better to just break your nug with fingers in smaller "pop-corns" and to pack them in order to force the hot air through the load. Hi, I hope the Starry wpa will work with your Ace but they don't have exactly the same mouthpiece, the Ace's mp is slightly larger than the Starry's one... I don't have a wpa to check with my Ace, sorry. But since the difference is pretty small I think you are good to go!
