These are some damned odd questions

Given the apparently very low voltage charge that is trying to travel between these components, it doesn't take much to interrupt the flow. I'm not so sure that the resin itself, being an insulating oil, doesn't insulate the parts from conducting a current. Given that, I think that people...

That's my take as well. I bought the Pax because for me, it's a great vape to use when out of the house, though I've spend many nights at home using it. I'm also looking at an SSV for home.

I think the electrical charges that are being conducted through the spring / mouthpiece / vapor path are very low, and it seems that almost anything in there can interfere with the connection. Given that, I think some Paxs are arriving with some crap in that general area already. Maybe

...no. The Pax does not make people sick. So it works great but after trying it one time you find the flavor different. Isn't it common for pretty much any vape / bong / pipe to have a break-in period?

Health issues DUE to Pax? Are you asking if the Pax made people sick? Or is this something lost in translation?

I'm still using the old mouthpiece. Works perfectly.

Stoneloc, try tipping one edge of the oven door open a bit to let in just a teeny bit more air. Others have commented about too-tightly fitting oven doors. Just lean the screen so there's more airspace over the hole. Maybe a silly question, but the hole in the plastic mouthpiece is open...

I worry about running plastic pipe cleaners with a hot Pax. The Warranty is with Ploom. The dealer is simply an agent. Typically a dealer handles sales and returns but I remember when iolite took over all warranty work from dealers at one time. Newvape, sorry if I missed this, but do you...

Stonloc, Look at that screen as suggested. It leans on one of the oven walls, so make sure when leaning that the void left under the screen of over the hole. Otherwise the screwwn could be partially covering the hole. In my mind, you clearly have an issue with resin, and it sounds like you may...

This is a general comment and not directed toward any individual. Certainly not directed to The Dude who contributed heroically to this thread. I think anyone reading any thread needs to understand that while the majority of posters appear to be legit consumers, there will always be a number...

Congrats! Charging might be 60-90 minutes initially. I think it's always a good idea to do a clean and burn. You never know about leftover cleaners, solvents, lubricants, etc left from the manufacturing process.

I love the Paka, but I've been vocal in that past about his preoccupation with the LB. Those of us that have been here a while factor that in. Certainly harmless and you get used to it.

ats, maybe chill a bit. No one is saying there aren't issues or returns.

ats, there have been plenty of returns on this thread. No one is arguing that. Hell, Ploom isn't arguing, either, as they manufactured a new mouthpiece. Not sure if that's a definitive fix for all issues.

With respect to the resin issue, is the cold resin affecting the dropping of that little collar? Or is the resin acting as a weak electrical insulator? Or what? Any theories?

Hey Dammit. Good luck! I happen to agree with the resin levels thought as well as the bent pipe cleaner. I did that once, before the dental brushes arrived. I will agree this sucks. If mine was a problem for me, I'd absolutely send it back. One thing is for sure. There are an awful lot of...

AP, many here flip the brick. I've had less success with that, so I just stir and re-pack. The Pax definitely benefits from dry herbs that are finely ground. I like to do a first grind in my larger Space Case grinder. The herbs are a little moist at that point. I think there's an initial...

FutureTV, I haven't done much more than that myself, and have never seen any of the issues being described. I have wiped that sleeve area 3-4 times in the 3+ weeks I've had the Pax. Can't say for sure if that's helped or if I just got lucky, however after reading at least 4 peoples experiences...
