That'll work fine. The complete clean-ability of this allows you to get through a screening. A wood vape would be a huge risk.

Exactly my take on this. I don't take risks. It's not like I have to polish the oven. I just Iso it clean (99%) and leave well enough alone. I wouldn't use a soap or polish or anything. Only then heat it and inhale it? "Maybe I got it all out, maybe I rinsed it enough" are phrases that I'm not...

So has anyone tried some other type of abrasive material in the oven? I haven't seen the need.

I would be the first guy to pull up a chair and popcorn if P&G was on fire, but I agree, you still can't make sweeping generalizations. Animal testing is poor taste, bad karma, etc, however it's is inaccurate to say they do it for fun, etc. That's just fear mongering. If someone wants to scrub...

I'm with Jams. I focus cleaning the spring area, and don't focus on the rest. I don't charge upside down any longer, etc. I just blow out the oven. I clean the spring area about 1x a week, just because. I have yet to have any issues, but I understand that if I don't clean that one area I may...

You maybe would have benefited from reading a few pages of posts here before posting. If the mouthpiece is stuck, then it is not clean. I'm not aware of a functional flaw that locks the mouthpiece that is NOT resin related, and therefore solved with the proper cleaning as outlined in this thread...

That was the same vape? Obviously no resin for the Iso to make into a switch-glue. Hmm. That's a new one to me. That sucks, Vito.

I hate it, personally. At least with the first hits of a load. I start on low, stir, go to medium and finish. Herbs are plenty brown. I may occasionally turn to high and finish off. Consider this. When you combust, you're taking the entire cannabinoid load (as well as tar and other fun items)...

brett, it's due to the fact that with combustion, you get the entire cannabinoid profile all at once. With combustion, depending on the temp setting, you pull off only select cannabinoids until you go to the next hotter setting. Low temp vaping is more of a head buzz, that allows you to work...

Before I do glass, I'd need a new vape to power it. Cloud or SSV

The last phase of my evolution will be to acquire some quality glass. I can thank Jams for that.

Mine hasn't had a single issue ever. Still using the old mouthpiece even though I have a new one.

When I'm on low, I can't get the herbs to a dark brown at all. Again, I have found the three temp settings to be very stable.

Cutty, that sounds odd to me. Very odd. I don't recall anyone else expressing that issue, actually. Maybe it's a completely new problem. All settings heat up to max for you. Most have commented how stable the three temp settings are. That would certainly be my opinion.

Whether full oven or partial, just pack it tightly. If the herbs are not really dry, the load will quickly shrink away from the sides of the oven as it dries. To resolve, stir the load earlier, then re-pack.

Very nice synopsis Paka. Some stuff you have to clean. Some stuff you (might) want to clean. Topic change: Which one of you electrical smarties can tell me if it is remotely realistic to have a solar recharge for the pax that you might put on a backpack. If you were gone for 4 days and no AC...

Pax Pointer #137: Stir sooner than later, especially if the herbs are fresh ground / moist. I find a fresh oven packed tight can shrink pretty quickly as the load loses moisture. When it shrinks it loses contact with the oven = less vapor. When you stir and re-pack, the now-dried load stays...

I do the Cleveland Carb trick for my last hit, after the pax is "closed" and turned off. This cools the oven faster so less vape may be lost.
