I'd imagine that if you were to stir the bowl, bits of glass would break. Even through cleaning or regular use some of the glass may break away from the screen. Having glass particulates in the vapor path wouldn't be wise...

I own a Macbook Pro. The aluminum shell has a dimple in it from when I dropped my MZ on it... :( My PC at my parents house had OSX installed (OSX86), but updating the operating system was a bitch so I just ended up installing Windows 7 on it a couple of years later. I'm a mac fan.
