Smell while cooking? The smell was completely nonexistent. I used a closed jar and placed the vaporizer/jar in a closed drawer. Even when the jar was opened, you could only smell the oil if your nose was right above it. This is a very discrete method to cook the oil.

I think my method is a lot more efficient. I will let it sit for at least a weak with continual heat for 2-3 days. This leaves a lot of time for the actives to bond properly to the lipids. As the duff is already decarboxylated, there is not much need for higher temperatures. I am still paranoid...

So for how long should I leave it on? The jar is hot to the touch, too hot to hold comfortably. Would I be risking anything before two days on the vape? Do you think that any bacteria will grow in it?
