The first thing is how much you all consume. If your all quite light to medium users the MFLB will be fine. It's advisable to get 4 extra batteries. If your all quite heavy users then I think Stu is right with the VG. All you need to keep going is a lighter and more butane, which is easy enough...

Just read through the old Vapolution thread. Seems the only upgrade, aside from appearance, was to make the unit lighter. Also, the Vapolution 1 had a problem with the dial sticking, this has apparently been addressed with this version. Aside from that the guts are the same.

Just a thought - can you get the name Goldmist off the tube? That would help for a start, then I'd probably, carefully, dab a little aftershave on the bottom for scent. Then if they enquire palm it off as scent atomizer.

@philmcan. You are absolutely correct. The LED is only an idicator of the charge going through. The LED will fail eventually and not affect the MFLB performance.

Oh well, I guess it's just a different, newer design or they have different people working on them with different styles ;)
