I have had good luck with RBT regarding warranty claims, but it took some persistence. I will say that it was before Ryan hit the road. And before @RBTcole got really busy with school, so ymmv. I also found that contacting them via Instagram DM worked better than email. I would give it a shot...

Feather the button. If you keep it held down you can combust. Slow draw, ride the button. The Mi3 hits even harder than the 2.

I've been using HG2s and been happy with them, though I also used VTC5as when I first got my Mi2. I believe that RBT recommends HG2s for the Milaanas.

Could be. I keep asking them specific questions about whether it can microdose or be used like an on demand vape and they just keep repeating that it's "pure convection."

The X is a hybrid. I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't cancel my pre-order. If there's a way to pack a reasonably small oven and finish it in a few draws that could work for me. But for the most part I tend to take a couple hits and come back later, except at bedtime when I go for 4-5 good...

It did, but when I asked about the free charging pads Airvape support told me that they'd already gotten more than 50 pre-orders. I'm still trying to get a straight answer as to whether this thing is session only or can be used for on demand as well. I emailed Airvape support asking this...

I took several cloudy hits off my Mi3 last night. The usual great taste and vapor I’ve come to expect from RBT. This thing might rip harder than the Mi2, I had to definitely feather the button. I don’t need another screw.

First photo here. Just took a couple hits off of it, this is going to be another great RBT vape. I have number 5. No additional screw; don’t think I need it. Haven’t cleaned the included stems yet; I took this one off my Mi2.

Yeah I preordered last night with the code. I have an X and like it. For 99 this is worth a try I think, and it sounds like they really listened to feedback. I like the Micro-dosing “basket.”

Ok, it’s arrived in the USPS regional center, it should be out for delivery this morning. I won’t see it till tonight. Update: out for delivery. Yay.

Update: no updates from USPS since last night, certainly no “Out for delivery” notice. On the other hand no “in transit, arriving late” messages. So who knows. Further update: now it’s changed to “in transit, arriving late.” What a pain.

Mine are all flat tops. I’d stick with flat tops, button tops are really meant for flashlights.

I’d think that you’d be fine once you cleaned the stems and maybe did a burn off or two. Remember, we’re heating these things; wouldn’t that kill the virus?

Rinse them in iso and hot soapy water and you should be fine.
