    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

You don't see it because that drawing is misleading. On the bottom is indeed an 18mm male.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

If you didn't have this issue with your original Cloud and these same pieces, then yes, I agree, that points to the Plus as being the culprit. Sorry, I must have missed that in your first post.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I wonder if the issue is actually with the Evolver rather than the Cloud. I have an "original" unit, too. There is play in the joint with not only my Ion, but also my Clear Reti and Clear Matrix. I use a CloudBuddy to get a good seal. With other pieces, the Cloud fits fine. Since the joint...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Glad to have you on board, the more the merrier. And please do post back your thoughts after you baptize your Cloud - that is, after you've gotten up off the floor.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Check the VXL store on the Cloud page. At bottom it shows an optional 3rd warranty year for $149.99. Something is not clear. From the monkey 10 days ago: Maybe the "huge news" rumor has nothing to do with products. That said, I've missed anything "huge" this week from VXL, other than the...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

You can find a lot of discussion about that in this thread over the past couple months. Essentially, a couple enhancements like faster heat-up and better exterior shielding, but mostly refinements for better reliability, which is why the Plus comes with a 2-yr warranty that can be extended to 3-yr.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I have those same pieces as Fred (well, except for the Stereo - which he got from me.). I also have an early HydraCirc and a HydraLine. Other than the just-OK HC, I really like them all and can't bring myself to part with any. It seems from many posts I've seen around that the accepted...

And that's - i.e., the soaking - why it's difficult to use for cleaning the bamboo. I found myself swabbing and swabbing with the solution to in effect soak it, and them doing much the same to rinse it - and I still got some film, which was difficult to remove later after it became visible...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

    Great idea!

mvapes, I'd go even farther than jack's caution. If you're cleaning from the bottom with a wet solution, IMO there is a distinct possibility that the solution will get through the orifice into the bamboo center section which is inaccessible. The only way to rinse that out would be to flush the...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I don't recall having seen a bowl adapter like this, have a link handy? (Looks like an 18/19mm would be even better though, eliminating the need for a reducer.)

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Use very hot water and mix well. Only a small amount is needed. Since you can't soak the joint (the oxidizing agent works best with time), you need to do more rubbing with the qtip than otherwise. Continue dipping the qtip so that the area remains wet, but not so much that the PBW runs down into...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

    It's a popular log vape. http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-hi.4693/

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I don't use PBW any longer because, even given as strong as it is, it still takes more time/work than I like once the resin is baked on, and then there is the rinsing required. Now I do pretty much like t-dub, i.e., I don't wait more than a week, I use a q-tip w/iso, and if necessary one of my...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

With my HydraLine I can see much better than with my straight tube, because I can easily see the horizontal chamber. I can also see the vapor actually flowing through the intake tube section that connects the joint to the chamber. A really great piece. :luv:

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Great review, Fred. Just fwiw . . . I don't think the unit is designed to be exactly symmetrical. On the two that I've had the bamboo is placed a little closer to the backside; that's a spacing consideration vis-a-vis the pcb behind the switch. I also need to face the cloud one way on some...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Neither my March or July models have the gasket, which I don't think was really a gasket - I think it was a retaining ring for stabilizing the bamboo, am improvement over the original flare formed on the bamboo. In any event, there was never a seal at the bottom; the alignment of the casing...

    The Herbalizer

Well c'mon now - that's the competition? It looks like equipment we built in the '70's. I don't think so.

Yea it's not hard to connect a Q bag to the Cloud, it's the forced air that I haven't figured out yet. Please do show how you're connecting a pump (or fan)! :science:

    The Herbalizer

The challenge with new markets (i.e., the "herbal vapor market") is always the amount of time & money required to develop, and what your competitors are doing during that time. It becomes a cash-flow issue, how long before reaching profitability. It's doubtful that the herbal medical user...
