Look forward to your impressions as always. And will be comparing to screen baller, OAB, VapBong, Herborizer and Hot Rod. Maybe I need to slow my roll...

    Old Head Hot Rod

A slot of some sort would really help on safety side of things. And still trying to brainstorming other options for better securing the handle. By the time it is in a place I feel comfortable the cord is then too short to reach my position.

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

I broke down and got blemished ones with fine and coarse plates. Even if top or bottom is badly scarred, any blemish is going to be less noticeable on the plate, and worst case scenario, I mainly use the plates if the rest of the body really bothers me. Here's hoping that isn't the case, but for...

Log vape, Herborizer, or Old Head Hot Rod?

I ended up getting mine from https://lacentralevapeur.com/ They had a free bubbler included with Ti, and a discount code that you can find on the Herbo thread. And shipping was surprisingly quick. But maybe check with VGoodiez on when they are getting stock back.

People have had lots of problems with IHs from Source. But don't recall the specific models.

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

Looks very cool. Stable enough without a flared base?

Log vape, Herborizer, or Old Head Hot Rod?

VapBong flavor is great. It isn't something I'd describe as lacking in that way. But it is just that Herbo is about FLAVOR. That's what makes it special. With no glaring weaknesses. Just like VapBong is about AIRFLOW. And CH Baller is about IMPACT. All great and top of their class IME.

Choosing the one and only desktop vape

If burns are a concern, that might rule out the Cloud Connoisseur options. But if you are going to crack that door open, include Herbo (tops for flavor in my book) and B-2 Baller (hits harder than anything in my collection, and that is before you get into double deckers...

Log vape, Herborizer, or Old Head Hot Rod?

I certainly haven't gotten my Hot Rod to come anywhere close to Herbo on flavor. And the Baller B-2 with a screen is wonderful, and powerful. But again, doesn't hold a candle to Herbo for flavor. As someone who feels Hot Rod was a swing and a miss, I lean towards going with a known quantity...

Log vape, Herborizer, or Old Head Hot Rod?

Since you already have a Baller vape, the Atlas might be redundant. And I don't have enough experience to say how much a halogen option will differ from the baller experience. I have yet to see any reports that these new entries top the Herborizer in terms of flavor. Though if I was to make a...

Choosing the one and only desktop vape

Of the options you listed, the Ditanium is going to be a good fit in terms of minimal burn risk. All the hot parts are so nicely shielded by the enclosure. Another option worth considering would be a VapBong or OAB from Collyland. The ceramic exterior does get hot when left on for long periods...

    Old Head Hot Rod

Obviously I may be the most down on the Hot Rod of anyone in this thread, and 100% admit that I probably have lots of learning to do to get a truly great hit. But dang the B-2 hits so hard, so effortlessly that I'm not sure what the Hot Rod gets you that the B-2 doesn't (and I love that PID...

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

Some of that will come down to your airflow preferences. 3mm rubies on the original V-rod Baller (holes instead of screen) was too restrictive for my taste. So switched to 4mm which helped. But the biggie was switching to the screen Baller (B-2). Now I have airflow that I love. Huge milky hits...

Log vape, Herborizer, or Old Head Hot Rod?

Think you've seen my disappointment with the Old Head in that thread. But for the quality of hits, my guess is that there is just a learning curve for me to master. But those magnets remain a concern in my use case, and in terms of safety with a hot object like that potentially sliding off...

    Old Head Hot Rod

So I am curious about how folks are getting their big rips on the Hot Rod. Yes Cannabis Hardware Baller may be an unfair comparison, but my hit at 3 o'clock with a generous Old Head scoop of fine grind flower from Flower Mill. Think I need to get my technique down. Any tips are much appreciated.

    Old Head Hot Rod

I'm going to give it some thought and some time. Maybe I can rig something more secure or install stronger magnets myself. But also wasn't pulling really milky clouds. Certainly not the heavy hitter I was expecting either. Though I do assume that much of that is due to my own learning curve...

    Illinois and weed

PTS Ha'Tuh is probably my favorite of their flower by a large margin. Yeah, I got burned on 2g of Lemon Bean. Had been stored on its side, the more liquid parts had oozed out and only weighed in at 1.3g. Not happy at all. But high hopes for Rev Cookie Dos Live Jelly (my first time with this...

    Old Head Hot Rod

It is less a matter of magnets holding when turned upside down than the handle sliding off to the side. I am going to need to McGyver some solution that will allow me to rest my mind at ease about this handle. Otherwise, I just don't think that this is safe to keep on without being somewhere...
