Arrived today. And it'll be a while until I can try it out, but I've gotta say I am pretty disappointed in the strength of the magnets. And wouldn't consider this the same level of fit and finish I see with my Sticky Bricks.
Coming from Sticky Brick, and knowing the great magnets they used...
Screened Baller arrived tonight. Holy shit. This really opens up the experience, and shows a whole 'nother side of the Baller Rod. Much more effortless pull. But hits like a monster. These were "Hot Damn." hits for both flower and a double decker. I liked the other baller bottom, but this is...
I was worried since Troy's video that this might be an issue. Too bad. I'm hoping for a vape where the polish is there so that it clicks like those prototypes everyone raved over did. Crossing my fingers.
Totally agree. Love the @RogueGuy scooper and tamper tools, but they become a pain to use with the strong magnet in the BCG base. Another win for the Mill!
Would love to hear more about your thoughts on the differences. I know I've seen that the Junior is described as having a steeper learning curve. But very curious about other differences.
Dang, @RogueGuy makes sooooo much great stuff. Love the scoops, tampers, and now there is this.
Also occurs to me that a shorter tube held in place by a normal mouthpiece might be best way to block all holes....
Just pulled the FW7 out after a stretch of barely using it. And dang why hadn't I been using it. Such great quality vapor production.
Maybe time to find a make J-hook for this badass piece.
Yes, Shovelhead, not Showerhead. The issue isn't the adjustment, it is that the male part of the post doesn't sufficiently taper to be useable in my Sticky Brick. And it sounds like that is the issue for @David Root as well. Most glass male connections tend to be longer and taper to a smaller...
Yeah, that is probably the most comprehensive review to date. But wish he did more comparisons than just limiting it to baller designs.
Also a bi concerning that the fit and finish didn't sound as polished as the pre-production units (that both broke, another concerning detail; but looks to be...
There you go! Great pick ups. I have a screen baller on the way, since it apparently has better airflow, and I prefer a more effortless draw.
I've found that the 14mm Showerhead post doesn't always work great in all of my 14mm female joints since it doesn't have much taper to it. Tried it in...
What about the UI doesn't appeal? Fine grained temp adjustments and super basic and easy to learn color scheme. What am I missihg?
You do you but I am a bit puzzled by that comment.
More i think about it, the less the metal/glass integration doesn't appeal on the Daab. Though still decent...
I was actually thinking Cream City sale price for Switch, if their shipping costs are lower.
Ultimately Switch is my favorite electric dab rig. Love the glass options. Especially the pricy one from Mav. Old is one way to describe it. Known quantity with established track record is another.
I...
Can't speak to the Daab, but I'd definitely recommend going the Induction Heater Route. No atomizers to mess with, and better quality hits than I've ever gotten from an atomizer rig (Source Vape, have not tried Puffco which has always seemed overpriced for what it is to me). And having to deal...
Enjoy, there is a learning curve, and I find that a passthrough adapter works great to give a carb (the 10mm stopper) and to keep the hot parts away from your more expensive glass rig.
I'm a Baller guy and waiting for the screen version to give me the less restrictive airflow I prefer.
