I'm afraid it's worse than that. LiPo batteries are 3/3.2 volts compared to LIon at 3.6/3.7. Full charge is LiPo 3.7 v compared to Ion 4.2 v. You have to remember that there is no regulator involved here so the batteries voltage is it. Therefore, even using the ion cells are not likely using the...

Wow, gonna give you a PM on more info about this. I've been getting my high current batts from fast tech for years. Panas, LG, Sony and Samsung only, but never had noticeable capacity problems. Sorry, getting off topic. Thanks for the heads up.

Battery Holder $2.10 Decent Batteries (for this application) $13.62/ pr. $27.24 for 4 Total is $29.34 with free shipping. Problem is batteries from Fasttech take well over a month to get. They ship batteries Hong Kong post and they get quarantined as part of the process. Gives time to get the...

The micro USB will be the 5 volt output. My guess is the 12/16/19V selectable out is a 5.5X(2.1 or 2.5)mm plug.

I don't see any problems with it charging with the correct cord. It's 4 amp capable for the 12 volt out. Lots of elbow room. Since it's a multi voltage device, and some higher than 12v, be very careful on setting it up.

That's a pretty sleek looking unit. I really, really have a hard time believing the 20,000 mAh capacity. IMO, the price is very high as well. (EDIT: just looked at the size. wow, it's bigger than I thought. Full notepad size. Still think it's a lot of money though. :hmm:) Did a quick search for...

Agree completely. That's why I just leave them on. To me the risk of damage outweighs any benefit (if any) of bothering to remove. I think the question is better worded whether ISO damages the orange O rings and what do is do?

What damage are you speaking of? Curious as I have never taken the rings off and have cleaned many times with ISO. What should I look for as far as damage? TIA.

Can it be any more stealth....? My real ecig looks more suspicious..lol A piece of shrink wrap and all evidence is covered. Also, have just tried the whitish temp, tastes better. I too was just going green and had not tried the white. Thanks for the info there.

I have had my AA for a couple weeks now... well at least I think that's about right. :freak: Been very happy in deed with the purchase. Fits into my life style just perfect and is now pretty much all I'm using. Find the airflow improved over my older version Solo. Power: To be honest, I have...

Congrats, just curious, how do you know it is the better made unit? A way to identify what is good verses bad is what many would want to know. Short of opening and taking a look, seems a hard call to make. The fact that you are experiencing a bad smell is IMO not a great sign as some here have...

Just to clarify, @phattpiggie 's 0.9 ohm is closer to correct. Upon making my element and performing a second measurement, I got 1 ohm. My leads must not have been properly zero'd the first round. The circuit really doesn't care as long as it stays under the FET's (electric switch) max rating...

So I managed to do a more conventional heating element for this puppy. Works good but find it takes longer to heat soak. Meaning the temp comes up about the same but the vapor takes longer before it flows. First thing I did was cleaned up the old element by scraping, ISO soak and wiping it to...

Mine is one year old. Bought it at last years 420 sale. Easy to remember it's birthday. Used very much every day and does show some wrinkles but can still get er done the same as new. One suspicious looking spot but no signs of actually leaking. I don't touch as I'm sure it would not fair well...

It looks like you have not put the grounding spring back in place. The bottom of the ignitor needs to have contact to the metal of the chamber to complete the current path. My guess is you know the ignitor is working by clicking while holding together and getting the painfull HELLO!! The spring...

I have to agree that the trust factor is out the window now for this unit. Knew this unit was made in multiple factorys. At least I read that somewhere. It's such a crime that the QC for making these isn't governed. How's the old saying go, only takes a couple bad apples to ruin the whole basket...?

Wow, definitely made in a different plant. Seems like you roll the dice with this product. Did not really want to post this ugly pic but now think even the outer insulation is different. So same idea but different materials used. The hole pattern is even different. We need a way to identify the...

IMO, looks perfect length for dual purpose. The piece must be thicker towards the top for the grinded end, no?

1st thing is to really be sure it's not a gas problem. You need at least triple filtered or I have used what they term, "zero impurities" which seems OK. First purge by draining ALL the gas out holding valve downwards. Put some good gas in and repeat the purge. Then try again. Determined it's...
