I think there is still a language barrier causing problems with the returns. Keep the language simple, and include pictures if possible. When they understand what the problem is they seem to be very responsive.

Nope! 18 months of use, sometimes with 2+ cells in a day, and never experienced a hot button. As @cybrguy says, the body gets warm after multiple sessions but I've never noticed a hot bottom plate or button.
