You can use a small wipe of ISO on a q-tip or tissue if you have. Otherwise a small wipe with a strong alcohol like vodka will work too as disinfectant. Just be sparing and wipe right off and you'll be ok.

Downstem = the removable bit that goes in the side of the bong and sits in the water. Diffusion = Slits or holes at the end of the downstem below the water line - these add more 'fizz' to the bubbles by forcing the stream through multiple smaller openings.

If your low on green you can use ABV instead. On the EQ you can just make an elbow pack layering the wand hash in between two layers of herb or ABV. Lots of hits - you might find you need to up the temp a bit but start lower and see.

Why not try to re-position the filter up to its normal position and the screw-in the inner mouth tube so it's level with the outer tube or at least reduced a lot.
