Funny how such a little thing is so hard for some of us. I was locked on that red when I saw a red Flux Deluxe over a year ago. Very happy to have Goldie as well. These are vivid colors.

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

I do around the house vaping and dropping it into my baggy shorts is no issue. Where I see accidental, and more importantly over an extended period of activation time that will trip the thermal fuse is throwing it in a backpack and having it rest against a hard object. I could couch Flite in...

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

Jeff chose a particularly nice switch for remote activation. Its plastic button pushes nearly flush with the bezel when activated. This would require purposeful activation in a pocket. An empty jacket pocket or alike will not allow the switch to activate. Sitting on it might. Of course, the...

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

I'm in the glass camp always @dantemaniaco . However, if the added robustness is attractive, the option is available. As Jeff noted, the lights will be more subdued. If carrying the Fluxer Flite in a pocket is a normal thing, I will recommend a simple pouch for the heater. I've come to...

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

This it true. I haven't thought through the concept as it was originally concepted by @phattpiggie but that might be because remote switches were rare outside of DIY. DIY sip'd and dip'd alike with the added reach for the power button. Having a remote switch is an extra action. 2 hands...

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

All great questions! Cap as Switch is a switch without the housing. In some instances, the weight of the vape is enough to trigger heating. The contacts are compliant meaning they will conform to the cap's surface. I tried to show that in the video that the contacts are not touchy in the...

LOL yea. Fortunately the design is based on high current. High voltage is what kills them. ..until they hit their limit of course.

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

@Zoltani - You can turn off the Fluxer Flite with the internal selector switch when traveling or packing Flite. I'd think preference is the only choice. For the best of both worlds, the 'NightLight' - both - option will provide a little added confidence when far from help or backups or... ;]...

These are my daily caps. '18 has a dent and the darker one is a hot '19 cap. CVaps worked just as well during testing. This cap was dented AF on arrival and its done some fine testing work... And instant on for sure. Sorry, missed that. That is a very important attribute!

Exactly. I run an 18.5V supply that does 72 watts and I can power an IH effectively anywhere from 8 volts to going up to 13.8V (car battery charging) as long as the cap doesn't demand more than 72 watts. If you watch the power meter, you have a simple constant that you can rely on. A watts...
