Yes there is condensation, but it's fine if you just remove the stem from the VT every time. The VT will only drip if you leave it out for too long. I like to take a few good rips then put it right back in the freezer so it's ready to go again in 1/2 hour or so!

I for one will be happy to wait for an improved 1/4" core. I agree the B-day vape rocks. I would just feel more comfortable if I knew it could be safely left on 24/7. I think 20 hours is the longest mine has been on.

Adobewan, sorry, I should've answered earlier. The original stems I got with my 1/4" B-day vape are 1/2" OD but I got an extra stem and some tubing afterward that are both 7/16" OD. The ID of the male GG fitting on the Fatty VT is 31/64" and on the Saturn it's 29/64" So the 1/2" stem fits...

Here's what I learned from Randy at puffitup, "According to Arizer the smell is a production chemical that is non toxic and should disappear after turning your vape on for a few minutes." I also learned that Arizer is producing both ceramic and SS models but puffitup won't be carrying SS ones...

I just think you'll find the SSV more comfortable. It stays put while you handle the whip/wand. With the LSV you have two pieces to handle and one of them is the heat source, when all you need to handle with the SSV is the wand/whip so it's easier to stir/reload. At least that's how it looks to...

I'll put in a vote for the SSV as long as it's standard or spherical GG. I just can't recommend the GG hands free from my DBV experience. It works but not like a standard IMO, never tried the spherical but it looks good.

pyngwyn, I would have concerns about the frozen VT in the LSV myself but they recommend it right on the site: vt w/ LSV Also I have seen a video in which the action took place though it is no longer available. Perhaps the creator of this video will step forward and attest to the LSV + VT symbiosis.
