I've been using 100% oils and have found the same - a thick black tar like substance on the base after a while. I've had this with all of the 100% essentials I've tried - some from very reputable places, so I guess it's a standard issue. I clean the cup with an overnight ISO soak and it works fine.

That's not a problem at all. Not expecting you to make constant improvements would have been foolhardy of me! :)

You lucky guy...post to UK can take anywhere from 5 days to 4 weeks in my experience with vapes so far - fingers crossed for super speedy as I'm super needy :lol:

I often just directly exhale vapor into my gf's mouth - especially if we're out in a bar - makes for ultra stealth as by the time she's finished with it there's no visible exhale

Here's a suggestion: We all love videos here on FC and we love new vaporizers too. So if you can produce a user video - a 'How To' type thing - showing the unit being effectively used it would be much appreciated :)

I think that being able to clean the straw will be a must. I don't mind replacing cheap whip tubing, but for reasons of smell-stealth it will be more important to have a clean straw, so $15 a month for a replacement straw will be an expensive variable cost of the unit. I might just clean it...
