Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

I easily run a charge through mine per day @Zoltani - maybe substitute the word 'light use' with 'personal use'. Parts inside need a moment to cool down so the thermal fuse doesn't get an attitude. Normally that cooldown coincides with user's enjoyment. That doesn't mean you can't just rip...

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

Jeff is a clever man! ;] Process of Elimination - good old fashion science. @Iholland17 - I have tested that little charger. A proper charge cycle should be about 1.5 hours plus a little for depleted cells in Flite.

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

@Iholland17 - The optional charger is a CVCC charger and will stop at whatever safety limit they use. They cannot go over 12.6V so they are normally a few tenths under. This will affect full charge but not to the extent you are showing. Do you have a proper li-ion charger? Or - can you...

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

@swieder711 and @Iholland17 - The aggression is the height of the coil - Jeff can adjust this as he realized he might have set a few too hot; how fast it heats is the diameter of the coil. 15mm coils are a little more finicky to adjust the 16mm coils which are slower cookers and have a wider...

15mm is the -fastest- coil. You could use a slight tweak of the 15mm coil. Again, these are tunable and @mr_cfromcali will be happy to help get you there.

I want one but limit myself to PayPal. Every time I sign up for a quick vape purchase I get spammed to hell. I can't have that.

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

There is nothing going on when the Flite is at rest with the switch enabled to full power or PWM. For travel or confined storage, turn it off. That is a safety tip. If it wasn't for my vanity I see no downside having both CaS and the switch.

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

I have killed cheap chargers asking them to do what they were designed to do. These chargers don't like having unlimited power pulled from them, much less what is expected of them. Internally they blow a fuse but it also means they are dead. Jeff picked a charger that actually shows when the...

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

@lemonSkunkie - Personally it doesn't bother me use FireFlite while charging. The risk is the charger, not Flite. I am not sure what Jeff's policy is.

DIY Induction Heater Builds and References

I have some questions - what is your DIY skill level? Can you tell a soldering iron who's master and are you prepared to do so? The basic induction heater and a switch capable of 10 amps - momentary would get you inducting! These get hot fast if left on so for safety 10A momentary switch to...
