Yeah, I would think that stirring would make the whole process messy. But if you are taking it out to stir mid-bowl, logically, wouldn't you also have to deal with removing a hot screen? I don't stir, never have found the need to, and the couple times I try didn't seem worth it.

I mean, it does already have a screen to prevent it from falling into the heater, unless you ground really fine. I haven't had an issue with this in 3 years.

Where did you get the replacement glass? From my understanding the TM2 has thicker glass than the OG, I haven't seen the new replacement part on the TM site yet...
