can you please elaborate why short PBW soaks are better than long for my needs (besides the stains lol)? If it didnt do anything to the deposits after 3 days, how many 5 - 10 minute soaks do you estimate i'd need to see some effect?

This was from concentrates. Before i was educated, i used tap water in the piece and dabbed at pretty high temps on a titanium torch nail. The marks were from before pbw. I used both low and high concentration soaks of Pbw, but it didnt do anything at all.

not having an 'airtight' seal is quite normal as long as there's only a little bit of air getting thru... like 1 or 2 bubbles firing off in the perc. both mine and my friend's 30mm ligers are like that too. my D-nail sapphire halo never had an airtight seal either.

This is where having a really good carb cap comes in.... A cap that seals well on the banger and can move the oil around the whole insert surface will allow you to take a dab down in less pulls and get you milkier and tastier hits at lower temperatures.
