the staining isnt permenant. i was able to get PBW stains out from the outside of my piece by scrubbing Ajax /w bleach. I'm not sure yet how to get em out from the inside. Haven't tried soaking in Ajax yet.

The rings were there long before the BBs. BBs didnt seem to do anything to those rings at all. Nowadays, I use Reverse Osmosis water that gets changed every week in all my pieces and exclusively dab at low temperatures. So, the rest of my glass collection doesn't have this problem.

very much appreciate the elaboration. i never tried boiling or close to boiling water. i only used hottest water possible from the faucet and then by the time i mixed in the PBW, the water was definitely not hot enough. i will try boiling water + PBW while im waiting for the vinegar and BBs.
