How does OMD hold up in terms of not needing to be cleaned like a BCG?

    Tetra P80

I actually really dig the nub. It cools amazingly well for the size and has a very open draw. I think if you take lots of back to back hits it eventually gets warm, but if you’re one-shotting bowls it doesn’t really matter. I personally didn’t enjoy the small wooden capsule stem as much. They...

    Tetra P80

As @Shit Snacks said this is very hot for a basket screen. I wouldn’t ever use such a high temp unless I was trying to quickly one shot a bowl through water. You can do longer/slower draws at 420-430F ime and still end up with very dark brown/nearly black avb if you want full extraction without...

    Discontinued RBT Milaana 1, 2, 3

Ah, yeah. No I got you. I guess I usually don't consider a basket screen such a large load. With other vapes that use that style of stem it isn't really necessary for me to stir with a basket screen, so I was just curious if you meant with something else like a non-rimmed screen (like...

    Discontinued RBT Milaana 1, 2, 3

Maybe I am misunderstanding, but don’t you usually use rimmed basket screens with the Milaana? Not that it’s required I guess. Just what I’m used to seeing with 18mm male stem styles.

    Discontinued RBT Milaana 1, 2, 3

Yep, too each their own. I would also think emptying and refilling a stem leads to efficient stirring, but for basket screen vapes/small load vapes a personal preference kind of criteria is that I don’t need to do that, or at least that things be close enough that I don’t feel bad skipping it.

    Discontinued RBT Milaana 1, 2, 3

@Dolpaca I am not sure how well it translates as the unregulated vape I use has a slightly different heater and I've not owned a Milaana to compare. So grain of salt and all :). That said, I don't really need to pulse the button. I push the button, give it a few seconds to pre-heat (4-8 seconds...

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

Yeah, I am the same way re: mostly using the one I like. I just figured the only way I’d really know which I most prefer would be to try all 3, but I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them, although I’d also probably not recommend coarse for vaping. Some people dig it though, so ymmv.

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

Couldn’t tell you if it’s accurate or not, but I think of it like coffee/espresso: a finer grind will in theory let you extract more of the good stuff assuming you don’t tamp do much that air can’t flow around all of the particles. I usually straw suck with my convection vapes and do the...

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

I have all three. Honestly I use the fine 90+% of the time even with full convection vapes, but I think it’s all personal preference.

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

Sorry if this has been covered--I generally try to keep up with this thread, but maybe I missed it. Did anyone end up getting the matte finish? There were questions around whether it would stay clean as well as the polished version when it was first announced or be as simple to clean. With my...

Nickel and the safety of the Lotus

I can understand the sentiment of wanting people to search for results in old threads, but I think to @Spj3k1’s point it isn’t as easy to find info here in several hundred page long threads as some of you claim (especially if you weren’t around for the original discussion to remember that some...

Nickel and the safety of the Lotus

I think you quoted the wrong person. I don’t know anything about the material safety of the lotus (though briefly skimming I agree it’s a fair question in light of the re-release).

    BAKx - bake all kinds

It really isn't that bad at all. Some of the more involved conversations aren't necessary to pay attention to or think about at all, and you aren't missing anything by not going through them--I am not even convinced that having your displayed temp perfectly match your coil temp is what you...

    What’s on your 4/20 wishlist?

I think the original discount was for pre orders, and from the sounds of it they’ve still working through those. I just figured another discount might not be forthcoming until they catch up to the demand. Never say never, though.

    What’s on your 4/20 wishlist?

I don’t imagine they’ll do a sale, but if gfl has a discount on the stainless it might be time for me to jump on it. I’m otherwise very content with my vape collection atm, so if I look for anything it will be glass or accessories—I still need a non-magnetic scoop!

    BAKx - bake all kinds

Yeah, I have also been very happy with the stock settings--I had Funky set the resistance on my mod though. I couldn't say if it was his goal or just the way he configures them or what, but it feels very similar to my Tetra P80. I do 360F for whispier vapor but amazing taste and that is where...

Best of luck friend! If you are familiar with discord at all—it’s just a chat app—and this doesn’t pan out you may get quicker responses asking in the Lamart discord server than here on fc. The maker is active in there and he or other users are usually happy to help folks get a mod set up. I...

Happened to be the case that lamart added dna 250c profiles and material files. Maybe they are not compatible across all dna models. https://shop.lamart.ch/index.php?route=product/category&path=85_97 It sounds like you know what you’re doing if you added the theme. Maybe give these a shot!
