Best recycler options/do they improve over conventional water pieces?

Wow. I’ve never actually looked at the authentic bear mountain rbr et cet. I imagine it costs a pretty penny, but Lordy do they do phenomenal looking work.

    Firewood Vaporizer

I think he is just swamped right now due to the 9’s release. A few posts ago several other posters mentioned this when trying to contact him. Remember this is one guy, not s&b.

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

Thanks for sharing @LesPlenty. It’s not a lot and I’m not sure if the temps we are generally using are hot enough to matter, but I guess the metal from those chips has to end up somewhere. Presumably unless you see them and dump any flower out of your grinder and thoroughly clean it, it would be...

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

I think absolutely if its damaged this is the move. I was thinking of hypothetically after years of use and letting the magnets bang together perhaps chipping some of the aluminum or anodization off (I don't know if the latter is a thing, but I would need to look into al anodization). That was...

New Creation, (needs a name, open to suggestions)

Looks dope man, love seeing your experiments and handy work! Ryan probably wasn't thinking of the TMNT when he named the Splinter, but its where my head is at so I vote for Shredder Z

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

I think the only thing to sway me would be moving to ss out of an abundance of caution to avoid vaping Al. I have seen photos of damaged center posts on Reddit, but my bcg at a year old still looks pristine so it’s hard for me to say if it’s realistic that ss would do me any good (besides as a...

    The "Stunner"

That’s maybe fair. My comment was mostly on the dog pile. Personally I think a little math probably answers the conduction vs convection question handily, or the experiment someone proposed of just heating a few bowls to the point you would usually draw and looking at the avb after. If you can...

    The "Stunner"

I’ll have to look at how the convector works. I know there’s a similar principle of hearing some mass up to heat incoming air, but I thought I recall reading that there is also a direct draw facet. Like I said, the butane scene hasn’t been something I’m avidly following these days so I didn’t...

    The "Stunner"

Yeah idk. I haven’t tried it and I don’t want to knock any of these vapes. I am just skeptical that the threaded design of the bowl and cap along with the small space really provides enough separation in any of these designs for convection. Everyone has to follow the laws of physics and...

    The "Stunner"

This. The TA is obviously a copy ("inspired by") the Anvil and Dani, which are both obviously copies ("draw inspiration from") the dynavap. Two of them chose to add mass with metal and two of them choose to use balls, but from where I am sitting they are all conduction heavy hybrid devices. I...

    Tetra P80

Yeah, the drops are pretty stressful. The new system they've been using helps quite a bit though. That one still looks great. The wenge and redwood burl go together pretty well. I thought the full redwood burl unit was sold in the auction because I was eyeing it in case it made it through...

    Tetra P80

Hmm, when you mention the redwood burl are you talking about this one https://shop.lamart.ch/index.php?route=product/product&path=68&product_id=1853? Different strokes for different folks, but from where I am sitting you are nuts--that one is beautiful! I thought it went in the auction, but if...

    Firewood Vaporizer

I’m not going to judge the FW9 and whether or not some accessory is required until I see more posts about it or try it myself, so this is all kind of moot. But fwiw I don’t “need” a tweezers, loading tool, tamping tool, or any other finagly bits with any of my other vapes. I think that is the...

    BAKx - bake all kinds

I think he does like someone else mentioned! Congrats getting one from the giveaway, btw!

    BAKx - bake all kinds

Lots of options, but I also second the recommendation for a dna based mod with the bakx. You can find the Thelema (the same model Lamart sells) for like $130 or so on evolve vapor. The model someone else linked in this thread should also be great. Ralph’s profile gives you a pretty great...

    Firewood Vaporizer

Yeah ideally I don't want a tool or accessory to be "required" to have a good experience. But isn't one of the protrusions on the heater lid on the 9 meant to ameliorate the need for a Tweezers anyway? It sounds like you push it into a slot to loosen the capsule so that it pops out easily.

Portable dry herb vape with a BIG load

Does it need to be portable? If not and you are open to coil/enail based vapes there are options at just about every price point that will easily facilitate large loads that smack. If portable is a requirement I would second the TM suggestion for a widely available portable with a lot of...

    BAKx - bake all kinds

I don't get a ton of hash so no first hand experience, but people seem to love it with the Bakx. Don't sleep on it as a concentrate device, though. The Glass Charlie u bangers do a phenomenal job with full melts. Its the easiest and most approachable way that I have to do low-temp dabs.

    BAKx - bake all kinds

Yeah, there were never 10mm but the Glass Charlie U-bangers had 14mm sizes available. As others said, between them its entirely preference and what kind of glass you already have. edit: Ralph may have done his own 10mm prototypes, though.

    BAKx - bake all kinds

It’s my understanding that todays drop is just Tetras and a handful of TetraXs. For the bakx, the accessories will depend on what you want to do with it. I have been enjoying some full melt concentrates with it, so I really love the U banger. For flower I think the must have accessories are a...
