... I never really looked close. I would guess 10 min. to cool down to handwarm. Mine is sitting in a 14mm glasjoint to rest - the glas is hot. It extends the cooldown in my system. Roomtemp? Wind? ...this beast is SOOOO tiny. ;) In all ballvapes there is a sluggishness ... Your PID measures...

Campfire Romantic for the advanced ;) Yeah. You are right. That means we have at the very start the desired temp. After some airflow it drops... the first solution that comes to mind is to increase the temperature. But that's not quite it.

As I did the wireless test with the heat gun I wrote Ryan about a cool effect. Maybe you have noticed it too... I call it "Crack-Pipe-Effect"(I think Ryan now thinks I am insane ;) ). Some times it sizzles like a crack pipe on the very first second of a draw. With the heat gun the lower part of...

mmmhhh... my ZX joins its new friend. Sherlocks-Swan (sorry, my naming!) by Thomas EHLE. This guy is so cool. I dropped him a photo of my Sherlock-pipe. Told him: belly, open mouth and 14mm. Than he came over with this swan. It is getting white ;) ... I refuse to clean it (hope I can stand)...

Zirconia - cool. You have do deal with the material. To much boro cracked and destroyed by me, sometimes hot as fuck. That is beside the performance my biggest thumb up for the ZX - Indestructability! My intention from that time was "cover that oven". I dropped the idea. I have a shelly plug...

Had that with my diy-glas-ballvape. A coper shield (from a Cooper tube for a 20mm coil). IMHO no big benefits. At least everything in contact with the coil gets hot. Needs energy.

Really cool. OK. Best of both worlds. Less metal ✅, screen depth adjustable ✅, closer to the heater (adjustable) ✅, funnel-effect ✅, maintenance a little worse ✅. Proof of concept - YES.✅ The o-ring is from a Dynavap. I had a good tasting "one-hit" with less than 0.02g. Cool. Worth the...

May be HERE is a starting point on amazon.com or on Aliexpress (OD 11mm or 11.5mm would be plug and play... didn't find any) I totally agree. I love perfect-ses-tinkering too and I am sure there are people out there that just love it like it is. ZX is perfection! I agree less metal in the air...

... these "bowl reducers" work natively in the 18/14 glasadapters (no grinding). Drop in...gets stuck in the middle. Give it a try... same microdosing-FX. In combination with the SS-screen you could get closer to the nozzle. Measures are: OD / ID / height. They sell different heights on amazon. :D

...with a small groove on the outside, filled with a hemp-thread to hold it in the bowl chamber. Different inner diameters. Coneshapes. I am IN....need better glasses and smaller fingers. I try to make a video. Maybe to euphoric... It seems to me that the vape is generated more...

Tinkering! One-hitter! I don't know what lung volumes are available here among the members while I'm eagerly waiting for the first ZXL reports to come in... mine is limited🙃. Until the ZX-Bowl (and the ZX), my favorite bowls were 14/19 male glass adapters with different screen depths. For the...

Hi. Your coil plug has 5 Pins. Two for temp. Two for heating (AC-power). One for the ground. If they are soldered in a different alignment, for example the two pins for the temp sensor are connected to the 220v power ---> you will totally FRY your controller. I did this once ...not...

Keep your fingers off the temp sensor settings. It is set. Don't need to change... you will have NO accurate temp readings after this. There are multiple sensors around with various temp ranges. We need K-Type. And it is set. You can mess with the P.I.D. settings. That's OK. Mine is not perfect...

I got mine (Aliexpess) running and tweaked a bit. Auto-Tune missed. Had an overshot up to 380°C. Give this a try (PID for dummies ;)). Of course you can screw things up if you are messing with the controller. But if you sit next to it and have the kill switch in reach... there should be no...

Yeah it wobbles minimal. Absolutely NO sticky joints so far and no worries. Try putting the cold ZX together with the ZX-Bowl and suck on the end of the ZX-Bowl and hold the ZX closed with your finger. Tight? Good! One can conclude from this: It doesn't suck! :D

Ryans coils (on his page) show 5 turns. Mine 4 turns. That should make a difference too.

Stretch it! ;) ... I am totally blown away how this little stretch changes the whole experience. I think that the ZX is now measured rather than the coil itself. i have another coil that is already stretched ... it seems that the sensor (in exactly this coil) is not inside or outside ... rather...
