DIY Induction Heater Builds and References

Hello. New year approaching...new idea... and a new question! ;) Hey TommyDee... what if I separate the coil from the board? Good Idea?! Two-Wires, 1mm2, 50-100cm length, should do the job. Is this an option? I was thinking to give the coil a separate housing. Temperature-Controlled. Possible?

... about your screens... I am still using the rogue-dosing capsules. To stop them falling down or else I actually use some stainless-steel-wire (SS316L / 24 gauge) inside the glasadapter to hold them in place. In the pic the lid of the capsule is missing. Most of the particles will stick to the...

    Aromed 4.0

Crazy to hear... I am still DIYing... just a teaser! (pic) Built out of non-vaperelated parts. I will report if only one of my three builds in mind will work. (sticking the light source in the other end is an option too, close to the original setup.)

Pretty! I would not mind... for me this looks "safe".

    Aromed 4.0

I can just give you a workaround. The picture shows a NS19 female / NS29 male adapter. The inside/outside of the NS29 is for sure a cone. If you cut the end of the NS29 about 5 mm (or less) the Aromed glas should fit in there with a proper seal. As a bong lover I would use the setup with a...

    Aromed 4.0

A wooden housing would be really cool. I tweaked my Aromed some years ago. And had the same concerns about the PTFE/Teflon housing. And my little "bong-head" (adopted from a LightSabre-setup). Twist and turn and tilt and the seal is sufficient. "AroMed HQ-Vaporizer": I am ready for the...

Last time I talked to him he was working on a "All-Glas-Vap-Cap-Killer"... :"Look Ma... NO click!" ;) - it...

Same here... if it is to tight and you are curious ... try to "Dremel"-grind some of the glas. At least at the end of the 19mm this worked once for me.

Oh no! Not a problem. Scroll up and check out the pictures and text. The last pic IS a dosing capsule. The Storz-Bickels are another story. Actually they are to small to rest in the glasadapter. But the healthy-rips-capsules (mentioned above) are perfect. At least upside down.

Haha! Great. If I compare it to the Stempod, almost equal vapor, if you have the system warmed up. But the flavour is super. I did not reach to the hotspot point in my usage. That doesn't mean it could, but I doubt. Too much turbulence. (May I dig it out and test it with the capsules.) That...

Dont worry. Now I get you! My RDA hole is 12,8mm. Glasadapter 14mm end - on the tip: Mine is 12,1mm. In my setup I can stick the adapter at least 5mm into the rda. My phobia original drip tip is 12,5mm too. Hmm... so I have just been "lucky" ? Sorry... I was just LEGOing on and it fitted in my...

Hi. Look at the pictures above. You have to stick the glasadapter into the RDA adapter. The electric (810) connector has nothing to do with it. Did I get something wrong?

At least I found for my self that it kind of doesn't matter which super-coil you have. I fell back to stainless-steel-wire, 8 windings. With every different coil it is a learning curve. But you will get where you want. The Notchcoils heat up fast, but are fragile, and have less mass. With a...

I don't know where to put this... it belongs to any vape with NS18 Glasware that uses (dome)screens. Rogue Dosing Capsules from Healthy Rips (Thanks to VapeWellness.co.uk) This is my new favourite combo. You can twist and turn the dosing capsule in the bubble. Mouthpiece is narrow enough...

    DiY lab based vape

You are on your way! Look for the heating chamber with straight joints and the RIGHT connectors. Look on Ebay! That saves you at least some money for adapters. Your way with a NS45 joint fits to LAB-Bong accessory. Sidearms could be smaller NS14 or NS18 = many adapters to chose from. ;)

    DiY lab based vape

Cool DIY idea! I would prefer THIS heater. There is no steel bottom... the heating mesh is "floating" in this heater. Stirring is not mandatory. If i had to give this DIY project a name... would call it LAVA the Lab Vape. The heater problem: I like a RaspberryPi solution with a touch-screen...
