I would welcome an oven with a greater heat sink capacity. Not sure about a .5 g bowl. But who knows. John's incremental innovations have a knack of delivering features to the Anvil I didn't know I desired. The integrated stem is an excellent example, and the recent adapter iterations.

I used a hopper and now the anvil. Natively, mostly and to me it's far less hot than the hopper. I burned my lips on the hopper without the sleeve, the anvil is certainly not as hot as that.

I was a hopper user for a short time, before it broke down, and the Anvil, even without the XL Mouthpiece, is much cooler. The signature is more or less the same for the hopper and the anvil, I think.
